Hey Rui Ferreira,
I am happy to get the chance to listen to a new mix of you, since I have downloaded some very nice ones last year.
This mix puts me in perfect Festival mood, since I will be leaving for Fusion Festival in a few minutes & the weather does not look so perfect, but at least the music gives me the summer feeling
Anyways, thank you
P.S.: Specially the Deep Dive Track ... mmmm |

Rui,
As usual the music you pick is so good and with such good flow. Looks like you are really busy these days, that would explain the frequency of your sets

"Into the Now" is a journey into minimal dub. The set evolves from very quiet sounds into faster house and dub influenced tracks and then back again until it finishes with the beautiful beatless ambient track Trisine from Solar Quest.
Tracklist:
1. krill.minima - in einem traum den ich einst hatte
2. Cosmic Fools - Bohemian Atmosphere
3. Saafi Brothers - Under the Stars
4. Shen - Embrace (Rmx)
5. Sympath - Pond Life
6. Blackfish - Night Train
7. Saafi Brothers - High Moon
8. Bluetech - Diaspora
9. Falter - Taumelflug
10. Patchwork - Machinism
11. krill.minima - zwischen zwei und einer sekunde
12. Solar Quest - Trisine

Hey alaska vibes,
without wanting to offend you, I want to ask, why do you preplan your set, totally? Don`t you think you erase the creativity of the moment with this?

Yes, good point, good point. The spontaneous mixes are usually the best, with less constraints. I will take this to my consideration. The list is anyhow just a basic guidline to help me through the big festivals, where the pressure gets notched up more than usual to be flawless.
Like this weekend, I will DJ at a festival organized by Solstice, the biggest in Japan, and I dont want to make a fool of myself. www.solstice23.com Also coming up is a mega 4 day festival deep in the mountains of Nagano, Japan, organized by Mother. www.mother.bz
Anyhow, thanks for the comments. Its helpful and constructive and I will try to maintain the creativity of the moment. Peace!

Thanks Gunter. I wish I could have a nice set too, but...
I think my set will be moot, as at the moment, a massive typhoon (Japanese for hurricane) is barreling towards Tokyo, and should strike right during the outdoor party where I am to play. This typhoon is one of the biggest on record, and will surely be a bitch.
I wish the organizers of this massive festival all the best, and hope that they will find the strength to overcome the physical and monetary obstacles facing them this insane weekend.
May the winds blow to the sea and away from land...
