Not realy ... 45% , Techno is much more powerful and huge , Deep and stable with an massive hh rhythm work and low sounds so cant realy compare at this point/Side of case . I agree theres some elements who maybe fit or remind (In the old goa music of the '90) And few mello pads and loops that return again and again and again but not more then that .

I'm planning to organize a psytech/dubtech party soon. Any plans on coming to Europe sometime?

Either there, if Waterfront is open to the idea it would be an option. I'm also looking at Koornbeurs in Delft, which would probably be more appropriate for the amount of people I can reasonably expect to attend a first party with this concept. I've already spoken to them about it, and they did seem to dig the concept.
I'm also considering a more intimate venue, De Vinger in Den Haag; I've thrown a party there before but that was at Mindf*ck Mondays.
Haven't set my sights on a specific date yet. I'll probably also ask a (dub)techno & a progressive DJ (who'll be spinning stuff like Stephan Bodzin, Ben Klock, etc) to play earlier in the night, then a funky psy/house DJ (who plays artists like Khainz, Astronivo, Indepth & Sensient).
I'll play last, moving on through Nuclear Ramjet, VX, Brian Burger & Metalogic to some of the harder more techy stuff like The Delta, Trimada, Paps, PPS Project & X-Dream.
If you know any DJs who are into that stuff and want a chance to show their view on the borderlands between psy and techno, there's probably room for one more.
Entrance is gonna be cheap, probably a couple of euros, 'cause I'm doing this out of love for the music. I'm going to be trying for as low an entrance fee as possible; I'm not in it to make money. It was very common in the mid 90s for UK parties to advertise themselves as psychedelic techno.. though that scene sort of split into acid trance/techno trance and psychedelic trance.. anyway - there's nothing new under the sun... |

I never imagined that dino Psaras were to become that shit, I thought it was a serious person, but think of it his tracks never been enough psychedelic, he had a lot of tracks that sounded very commercial, but seeing it on the positive side, these trend of techno , progressive, tech house etc, is cleaning the scene of the fakers. |
