I was pretty much decided on the Vestax VCI-100 but then saw the Reloop Digital Jockey is coming out in a months time.
Now I am undecided again.
The VCI is obviously build better and is totally professional, making it a good item to take to the club or do gigs with.
Can the same be said for the Reloop Digital Jockey 2?
Not many reviews out there and pretty much read all of them and gone through their forum.
Anyone round here used the Reloop Digital Jockey yet?
The name is crap...but it looks the business.
Metal outer....pretty solid build.
What interests me is that you can add a turntable to this setup whereas the VCI, you can't.
The Reloop alsop has a built in Soundcard.
I already have an External Sound card (Which has Audio in), so maybe this is not such an important point as I could probably route the turntable via the Sound Card and not the Midi Device.
What to do...what to do.....
Any info will be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

the reloop thing is probably just as crappy as the rest of their equipment. You get what you pay for

nice - been playing around with the vci-100 over the last coupla days.. The toy rocks! Too easy.. the sweet thing is, as mentioned somewhere earlier, the sync functionality allows for quick beatmatching, letting you slide the chanels in and out... RAD.
@Sarasin - Did i understand correctly... u putting arcade buttons and stuff onto you vci? Goddam.. |

Oh it goes waaaay beyond JUST mixing it up as per usual!
HEHEHEHEHEHHE....WAAAAYY DEEEPER!
I have it modded with Arcade buttons yes. At the bottom 4 playing buttons under the Jog.
I also have firmware 1.3 and have the Black SE version overlay....to match my midi mapping.
I route the channels out from Traktor to Ableton to make use of the Sidechain Compression.
So its an advanced VCI-100SE running Traktor Pro and Ableton.
Also managed to get Ableton midi synced with Traktor.
Now i need to practice this NUTTY SHIT!

Agreed - Using this puppy opens up ALL SORTS of functionality...
Re the pic - very nice - like the way you've pimped it... looking good.
Heres a quesion for you bro - WHY, in your opinion, is it that we very rarely see this kind of setup (Vestax + snd card + lappie) being used at psy jols in kaapstad?
