Ok ok...I know that its very tough to keep the prices down in Greece but remeber in Italy they did a party with Eduardo and Dimitri TIP for 5Euro
plus I am going to a party here in Uk(which is supposed to have the highest prices for psyparties) and Iam paying 18Euro to see Hallucinogen Live, Michele Adamson, Unconsious Collective and Ott live. I am saying all that for you to see whats happenin because for just a Dj set 20 Euro is pretty much dude even though i respect Natural High...I think its better to start considering the Free party spirit that KenoDiktio has to offer. Countries like UK and Germany that have long long history in electronic music scene have always the lowest prices.

I said so!!!...because I live in UK the last five years and I am cheching the sceene every now and then...of course I know better than you...
Anyway dont get stuck in the way man and please get the point of what I am saying here. Just to inform you the usuall price for a party in the UK is 12 to 17 GBP wich is about 25 Euros...BUT they have 3 live PAs and more to compensate the high prices and they diserve it...Now Germany is a completely different thing my friend..They have 100+parties every week so the prices are really low...dont confuse UK with Germany pls!!!Now to the point again...Eduardo and Dimitri for 5 Euros...in Italy you got it now?? |

EarthDrum 25 Euros is a high price for an event with 3-4 Live Perfomances and 3-4 DJ Sets?
Please do yourself a favour and check the UK Trance section in the forum to see the prices of various events with huge line ups of 10 artists.25 Euros for these kind of events is nothing so please dont tell me that UK is considered to have the highest prices for psychedelic trance parties.
And to the point like you said.You insist on mentioning that in Italy they had an event with Edoardo and Dimitri Nakov for 5 Euros.Did you ask yourself if Edoardo was the promoter of this event and him and Dimitri played for free?Did you ask yourself in case that some other people promoted the event whether in the end they were able to pay everyone and everything with this 5 Euro entrance fee?Cause i can also do a party here in Athens with 10 international artists with an entrance of 5 Euros but in the end i will not be able to pay nothing and noone even if 2000 people turn out in the event.
Oh and by the way how often do you see events with 2 international guests and with a 5 Euro entrance fee?Not very often do you?Maybe once in a year?
We are hungry people in Greece indeed but the prices are not high only because of that cause when you ask an artist to come for a live perfomance and he demands 3000 Euros while in other countries like UK,France and Italy he charges half of that its normal that the entrance fee will be higher than in those countries.Ofcourse like i have said countless times in the past its not only the higher artists expenses that add to the higher entrance fee but many other things also.Its a complicated issue and its easy for people that have never organised an event in their life to talk about that and accuse the promoters for high entrance fees

Mmmm.... It's nice to hear that dj's do get greater enumeration here in Greece!!!
I wonder why this thing cannot be changed...
Is Greece a poor country with hungry guest dj's that think that it is a luxury or should be an expensive sport for us to listen to them play? Shouldn't there be any balance? Poor country = cheaper demands = cheaper admissions?
Isn' there a way to make things easier for all of us? There must be... somewhere under the rainbow... lalalala... 3000 euro for a 1.5 hour dj set live or not? (Way to go for the dj's that got it) But I thought this is the trance party scene not the rockafella party scene at his villa... Or a basketball team for what matters with overpayed playmakers...

25 euros is ok with 3,4 live sets...20 euros with just one international Dj is pretty much...and I am very sad when I hear from a promoter that things are not going to change...its like politics that all they care is their pocket not the people. |
