Hey everyone. I have been living in DC since 2003 and I can confirm there is no Psytrance in DC at the moment. As Moksa said there were some pstrance events by Konvocation some time back but i think cyzum is in Cali now. Actually we thought their first party was awesome. it was small and intimate on a snowy night in DC and it was free
Now that there are no psy events in DC we have to resort back to going to NYC
Anyways, I think that we could get a decent crowd out if we had a psy event.
our move to DC is on hold until me or my husband can get a job there... which is proving to be difficult! but I have hopes. we're gonna just keep trying and trying. =)

Im willing to help out as well.... Im only 4hrs away.... I would love to see DC doing something!!! I have some sound and other equipment that I could help out with, play for free, whatever...

Unfortunately I am moving out of DC but I am looking to get back soon. I'd be glad to help anyhow if something goes underway.

I helped out with the Konvocation parties, considering throwing a party in DC if I can find the right venue. Any suggestions?
Cyzum is now DJing/producing under the name Jay Selway. He was out for 2 years due to a tinnitus infection and is now back in the studio. He played a live set at Psychedelic Nightmare 2 recently:

I am. I stopped doing parties and djing for a few years after I was in an accident. I'm writing music and starting to dj again though.

Actually, I'm not in Cali. I just moved to Gaithersburg, outside of DC from the Baltimore area.
I was in an accident and sustained a bad head injury. I'm back to normal (partly) now.
