I started to mention this in a diff thread but it might get a lil more traffic on its own.
Anything going on here? I know its a hop skip to Philly.... kinda... I guess... but I mean actually in/around DC. If I try to google search it only brings up smatterings of parties from like 2006 or earlier. What are the options for someone living in the DC metro for psy-action? |

there isn't much of a psy scene. they do get some pretty good EDM acts @ U Street music hall. For some reason they get a lot of Nu-disco and deep house. |

I saw Shpongle and that is the next best thing to a psy party in DC. I have been here for six months and there isnt any psy. Someone has to throw a party there is def a crowd for it.

I've heard pretty much everything across the EDM spectrum in the DC area over the last couple of years.... Except psy... Philly and NY for Psy unfortunitly dear...  Good news is... In "trancer time" those are both very short drives... |

I think i can get a few DJ's from new york but i think we need to see how many people in Dc are going to show up....
does anyone have any idea how many people here will actually show up and pay 20-30 $ for a ticket? |

I'm in DC. Well more precisely, I'm in school in DC all day but live in Columbia. I would welcome like minded people with open arms> Anyone already in this area let me know.

we are looking to relocate to either Alexandria or Arlington. Not 100% sure where we will be working in the area yet.. which is why we haven't moved yet!
I'd *like* to go to school at University of Maryland at some point... |

Like i said before, there is a crowd naturally prone to psytrance but you have to cultivate it with one test party and then drop the big kahoona.
