I liked this movie. Not more than say... Star Trek (which was frickin' awesome), but a lot more than most of the recyclable crap that is called sci-fi in recent years.

Star Trek was a fun but shallow movie. Hollywood bubble gum at it's finest.
District 9 was much more intelligent and hard hitting.
I enjoyed them both btw.

I enjoyed watching star trek at the cinema at the time,
but as time went by i realized it wasn't all that it was made up to be.
the first half is awesome but the 2nd is average at best, not to mention the climax which was plain weak.
District 9 on the other hand is strong from start to finish, with the best climax of the year, full of action, blood and mechanics.
Bring on District 10

Allright allright they didnt spend so much money on it... but come on... its crap... he did everything he should to he could do the District 10... PREDICTABLE!

This movie is bad ass, definitely liked it better than Star Trek. The second half is just ridiculous. |
