WOW.

After two listens, I can say it's good stuff indeed.
T1 is awesome, with alot of atmosphere within it. T2 is the one proof I needed for waiting obsessively for Vibrasphere's new album

T7 from Atmos is a blessing indeed, I hope he'll come back to us

Way to go DS. Every release from this label is a pure gem .
Keep up...

Damn! Digital Structures really outdid themselves this time.
I was kinda getting tired with the typical proggy sounds lately, but this comp is full of fresh new sounds that will be rocking the dancefloors for many months to come!
Way to go!

First track Son Kite- Massive. What a great psychadelic track to start off a great CD. This has to be (IMO) one of the nicest Son Kite tracks to date. It has a perfect buildup to it. Seb and Marcus keep adding sound after sound to the foundation with some awesome psychadelic effects on top. The vocals in this track fit so well it makes me sick. Stunning. This is one of my all time favorite son kite tracks

#2 Vibrasphere- Newport. I wonder what he meant with the title of this track, hopefully not those disgusting Menthol cigarettes. Anyway, this track is very smooth, kinda bouncy, nice flowing melodies throughout. Same style as most of their previous works, I like it.

#3 Tarek Mansur- didn't really have anything here that caught my attention on the first listen. Maybe next time guys.

#4 Etnoscope- These guys have really caught my ears lately. I don't know anything about them, but for me they are the best new act of the year. Drumsession is a very energetic, high tempo track. It seems like these guys have been hanging out with Seb lately, they defiently picked up a trick or two in killer percussion work. The name here says it all.

#5 Wizzy Noise- I guess I haven't been paying too much attention to these guys lately. I was expecting some real "Wizzy Noise" if you know what I mean, but suprisingly these Greek guys have some versatility to them. They manage to fit in pretty well in the middle of this CD. A true progressive track that gets better and better until suddenly its over and you want more. I think this track can really rock on the floor.

#6 Ticon- Leatherman is a pretty typical Ticon track. "Automatic high energy" the sample from the track sums it up pretty well. Nice groove to it, good percussions once again. Ticon as always knows how to get things done on the dancefloor, without breaking too much ground.

The Atmos track (#7) is the most suprising one on the CD. We haven't heard much from him lately and this track gives me a lot of hope that he is back on track. Beautiful melodies here, tons of groove. Atmos takes this comp to a whole new level with sounds that I'm just not used to hearing. Bravo.

Shaman (#8) is a pretty dope track to finish up the cd with. Smooth chillout, Digital Structures style!

I need to say a word or three about the samples used in this CD. They are really classy. It's not the typical "I am on lots of drugs and so are you" that we hear 50 times in every party. They are behind the music if you know what I mean. They work together, especially in the Shaman track. For me this is just another indication about how much thought and effort is put into this tight CD.

All in All: Tight CD. My favorite digital structures to date. I was really disappointed by "Cross Link", I had a lot of criticism about that CD but my faith has been restored that Digital Structures is the number one label in the business. I think they could have put one more track but thats about all the criticism I can muster up right now.
Favorites: 1(!),4,5,7

here is a much improved review of this wonderful compilation.

Look out, Look out. Here comes possibly the best progressive compilation of the year.
Anytime Digital Structures releases a CD you can be pretty sure that you can just buy it with eyes closed. These guys only release a couple of CD's every year. This is their first compilation since "Footprints" which came out last year around this time. They are one of the few labels out there that have enough integrity and respect for their fans to release only the highest quality music from around the world And they did it again.
It begins with Son Kite-Massive, and as expected Seb and Marcus deliver yet
another atmospheric psychadelic track It starts with a superb buildup as sound after sound is added to the foundation. The vocals are inserted perfectly. You can be sure that this is one of the best Son Kite tracks to
date. Reluctuntly we move on to Vibrasphere with the very smooth, and chilled track Newport. This is a very sweet morning track built out of long curly flowing melodies that make you wonder how long it will be until their new album will come out already.
After two great morning tracks we go a little darker with a new act: Tarek Mansur. I kept waiting and waiting for something intresting to happen but it never really came. I'm not too impressed.
After that is Etnoscope with Drumsession. And a drumsession it is. Furious percussions+ a killer bass line= A dancefloor stomper. Great track.
Next is Wizzy Noise with a tight little tech-trance track. They manage to make it more and more intresting as the track progesses and the result is a solid night track that
will move any dancefloor.
After that is Ticon- Leatherman which for me is a pretty typical Ticon track. I find the sample pretty annoying but I'll admit
is has a nice groove to it, as you may have noticed I'm a sucker for good percussions.
Love it.
Shaman- Interchill is a pretty dope track to finish up the cd with. Smooth
and hynotic, Some people would call this chill out amd some would call it
microtrance. I call it a fucking awesome track. Could be a great way to
start or end your DJ set. This track is so cool that I usually hear it 2 or 3 times in a row.

All in All: Tight CD. My favorite digital structures to date. You need this
CD. In your house, in your car, and at work. Could also be a great CD to use to introduce someone to psy-trance with. They could have possibly put one more track but thats about all the criticism I can muster up right now. This will go down as one of the most important cd's of 2002.

10/10

favorites: 1(!),2,4(!!),7,8(!)

This is a stomper, though a compilation, for me it carries on from Saiko Pods 'phutures' in intelligence and mastering quality.

Go get it, not least for the Son kite, Wizzy Noise and Atmos trax!

The tracks from Atmos,Vibrasphere and Ticon are my favorites.I always liked Atmos and Vibrasphere music anyway.

Just one small notice,i had heard a lot of good words about the Son Kite track but i dont really think that is something special. This is my humble opinion ofcourse.

DETOX,

I also don't think Massive is that great on the CD, although my friend Nick swears that it will be taught in school one day. But you gotta hear it live. It flows much better and the guys add some really nice percussions that you don't hear on the compilation.

Peace!

I know I've said it before, and I'll say it again, and again, and again. Groovy? Absolutely. Progressive? Yes. Intelligent? Very. Proffesional? Can't argue with that.

... But there's not one sound in this compilation that makes me think "what the hell was that?!", not one segment that made me see the entire track before that point in a new light.

This is NOT psychedelic.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
