Gear: 2xNumark Axis2 CDJs, Behringer DX626 Mixer and Technics RPDJ-1210 headphones.
Greetings! After 2 progressive psytrance sets with elements of progressive house ("Rise") and full on ("Euphoria") I felt the time was for a pure progressive psytrance set - so here it is, "Digital Delights"!
"Digital Delights" includes highlights from some of the absolutely freshest releases from labels like Iboga, Digital Structures, Tribal Vision, Green Ant, Plastik Park and, of course, Dance N Dust Records - and I even found room for a sweet, old favourite of mine, the amazing "Atmoliner" by Amtrax (Atmos and Marcus from X-Dream) released back in 2002. I tried putting a lot of emphasis on the flow, going from very tight psychedelic progressive, raising in intensity before finishing with some epic, fluid trance. Did I succeed? Well, that's really up to you, the listener.
Note that "Digital Delights" is around 20-25 minutes shorter than my last 2 sets. I prefer longer sets myself, but because I wanted it to fit on an audio CD (for promotional reasons) I couldn't make it any longer. Anyways - enjoy these "Digital Delights", and don't forget to support the fine artists and labels.

Just listened to the set - Very nice mixing, often I didnt realize a new track was coming before it was dominant, also especially in the first part the after effects of the exiting track are very pleasant / makes for a cohesive flow from track to track.
Also great to hear good old Amtrax shine once more.
I think the flow worked better than it did in "rise" - though its hard to judge when the set isnt that long. Still, I basicly like it - but mostly the track to track flow.
Some of the tracks where a bit blunt / uninteresting (for my taste), but when the next track presented itself in mix the smooth introduction of the new groove gave more energy to the experience which was nice.
A lot of the track selection reminded me of DJ Banels set at VooV this year, still this set is a lot more uplifting.
All in all, very nice mix. definately recommended for anyone who is into uplifting progressive, which retains a number of psychedelic influences.
A very dancable set this is

Another great set from DJ pr0fane. This time the mixing is just better, the flow has a constant build and it ends like a beautiful dream. A very groovy calm set. I wish there were more encouraging, uplifting, emotive tracks though, since this is what I know you best for - endless supply of sunrises.
But I did enjoy it a lot, it's simply great to observe your skills evolving so fast - taking criticism into consideration and using it to create better sets. This one is heading directly to my iPod.

pr0fane , great mixing! I am with Krell on this one, the flow is somehow strange ( don't get me wrong I guess I havo to listen to it once more ) but from the begining to the end the mix is superb. Waiting for a more emotional mix ;-)
