same track on purpose I don't think so , by mistake indeed a few times , It happens to me once that I was about to play and I made the normal selections of tracks and everything as usual (I created a set for every party ) then depends how the dance floor reacts I add some others songs ........ ok so the guy who was playing before me play the second song that I played so I was like OOOKK the song was playing at the party anyway ...and I move to the next track ...not it also depends in how long you are going to play the song , if you have skills and you are using just a part of the song now and after another ....but on the other hand with so many music repeat a track ...mmm not that KILLA!!

same set we called "casetearse on costa rica"
BOOOOMMM           Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music.

I have played same track twice by mistake few times also wrong track from right cd has happened to me.
never on purpose, also as i play most of my sets b2b with my wife, it can happen that she has allready played same track in some point of our set and i put it again... basicly i think i haev never played same track twice but sometimes have played same track that she...
Twice i can recall that our opening track has been wrong track and both times it has been complitely different kind of track that it was supposed to be           http://www.myspace.com/polly_potb

Happend to me once. I played for the first time a Techno set and was wrecked like shit. Sunday 2pm is not a good time to play your first set, especially not when you played at 5am a Psy Set on the mainfloor           http://soundcloud.com/catweazle-psytrance-music

A friend who produces minimal/progressive house/techno gave me an unreleased track to play at a gig last weekend which I weaves in and out over 2 hours probably 10-15 times in the set. I started with it, then weaved in a minute here and there, then finished with it. Worked well           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

Yeah, sometimes you dont remember you already play that track, but is kind of of a noob error. More likely to happen if the dj is wasted XD

Shit happens some times..
i thing every dj have done this by accident to play exactly the same track twice.
But if you start your set with one track and mix it before the midle and play the rest at the end of the set that works fine for me.....

I make sure i dont play same track twice & also ever play any track played in any earlier sets by any djs in the party. Its a mess IMO!           We were born naked & grow up to become wicked.
