ppl.... ppl... ppl..... where were u in Biology class when they tought Natural Selection (Darwin.... remebmer him?)
what stops evolving - dies. or if lucky finds an enviroment more suited.
like the dinasours.... same with musical genres.
think a little. when was the last time any of u has heard a really new sound in full on? or in dark?
im not saying that full n is dead... far far from it but the more iteligent members in the Israeli ravers are tired of more of the same week after week... the underground is the first to spitt out what its bored of... we did that with Goa...
Full on is still the most popular Genre in trance and i have a feeling that it will be popular for a few years to come especialy since 2 huge scenes such as the Brazilian and Mexican scenes are keeping the artists very busy... but the Israeli underground full of ppl who have been into it for years are deffinatly bored with full on.
the dinasours ruled the earth for millions of years... and all thats left are birds and iguanas...

well well if it isnt the good ol' full-on and dark is crap arguments all over again...
well I must agree with you Shanti on some aspects but dissagree on some other...
indeed Full-On parties has seem to decrease for the past years in the Israeli scene but world wide it is very much kicking... as I said in this forum many times, Israel as being the most advanced evolutionary stage of the trance scene is being bored by the genre that has been dominating our country for more than a decade. the diversity of parties these days is amazing especially in the Israeli scene but blaiming some genres as ununique and not making anything new well I have to siriously dissagree on that. there is a lot of new music, an explosion of music for a matter of fact, so sure there is crapiness in every genre but there are also a lot of new soundz and talented artists appearing which people from the opposed genre dont always know and/or familiar with and hence take the libraty to make such generalisations about the whole genre. In fact many artists here (label owners and regular trance fanatics) dont have the time to listen to a lot of music and defenatelly not their own prefered genre so what is the wonder of you not knowing new-cutting edge music (which is not always being published or easily accessed like other mainstream music). artists from the 'Dark' and Suomi are making much more innovative and unformulated music then a lot of the mainstream, u just need to open your eyes, and look a little bit deeper. but as the criteria for good music has evolved into the matter of the quality of sound it is no wonder some genres dont survive or qualify the evolutonary stages of the trance scene.
and for that matter Shanti, I dont remember the last time I heard a new sound in progressive. infact its just a fusion of melting different kinds of genres such as the very popular now Electro/House/Club which a lot of people, including myself dont consider it as psychedelic.

Psychedelic or not, I recently learned (and therefore changed  ) That the word psychedelic is very overrated. I prefer the words sophisticated or unique.
Haven't heard new sound in prog this year? What about Perfect Stranger's Album? I haven't heard anything like that until this year.
What about Liquid Soul?
Fitalic?
Roman Rai?
Solead?
Brisker and Magitman (!!!)

well, most proggy artists go to a tottally different direction than those album that u mentioned(i love them all) and it's part of this zaner evolution.
dont forget albums like "learning=change" or "earth"
those albums were a very big step for the israeli proggy scene imo, and could not agree more about tegma's album that is by far the best album for my taste this year as well:)

I belive (Realy ..) That in every good party MUST to be a fullon side at the morning time . I hate it (So much ..) but at the same time i say why not ? . There is a nightly peoples and a sunny ones , Usualy the darkers diging in the night when the fullonist are at the day (Usualy the darkers back to they caves when the morning light is come - Mean going home , Back from the party) . I think we should act like the nature (And specialy when we are his guests for a night out there somewher .. in a field , a wood or an desert and we should respect his system of the world tunes , The time , His proceeding . There is time for every thing , Time for every 1 and we should love them both and living through they rules .
I realy "Dont like" this style (Fullon) - Sound for me dry and un advanced , But this is the fullon so we have to get it the way it is (Like or dont like) .

I prefer vibrasphere in the morning, they are a blast!
Music boundaries can be stretched to whatever you want them to go. its not a phrase only to progressive trance or other few genres, its for ALL music kinds.

i agree with what huga genaratrion said about soumi that most of the good music is 7 8 10 years ago and since then nothing better has evolve from this music i think |

No way dude, there are many interesting things that rised in suomi style in last couple of years, so it'swill be wrong to say that now suomi stopped to move on......

well mabey the truth im not that into soumi the last mandalvas albom was a big letdown since loumpapho albom wiche is kind of new i didnt heard anything intersting sory for the names mistake but again im not that into this style so im not femilier with all the bands
and somthing about progressive this is another copypast music its nice but its all defently the same same |
