Well, unfourtunatley Blue Room has shut down so i don't know what will happen with it's less known artists.

Does anybody in here know what Ciaran Walsh (Deviant Electronics) is up to these daya? Is he still making music? Can somebody give me some contact info? I really miss him an several other Blue Room artists...

He had a couple tracks on the Corrosive Breaks 2 compilation (on Sub Atomic / Atomic Rec.) under the name Supertonic a couple years back, but there has been nothing since then. I would love to hear more from him in the vein of Blunt Instruments - that still goes down as one of my all-time favorite albums.

I cant imagine he would have trouble getting signed. His work is some of the best ever, if he cant get signed under another label I would be very disappointed with psy labels! |

Yeah it really would be nice if some label would sign him. Does anyone know if the issue is him not wanting to do trance anymore or no label has signed him yet.
Seems like a lot of really great artists are for some reason or another not doing the trance thing (such as Kris Kylvin, Titin Moraga). What is with this?

thats a tuff one.. the devian electronics web site are also defunct. he used to produce music with a guy called chris gannon in various projects, but he is just as hard to get info on.

Ok, here comes the latest news...
Ciaran Walsh (Deviant Electronics) works full time as music maker for computer games these days. He has made music for several wellknown computer games lately...
He is also becoming a father these days, which takes a lot of time offcourse.
He doesn't have any new tracks at the moment, but I have been talking with him about releasing some music on my label Chill Tribe Records:

...in the future. Let's hope it will happen one day..., but at the moment he is busy with more important things in life...
And, while we are talking about him, I can give you guys a little tip. He released a track in 1998 as Bunker Din together with Chris Gannon (aka Polyploid etc) on Electric MELT (the South African label that took over the Blue Room catalogue), which is not very well known. Check it out:

I'm Chris Gannon and Ciaran and I used to work together many years ago. I am still producing music albeit now as a hobby - the music industry can be a cold hard place :oS
