Would you say that producing with desktop speakers highly limits your producing capabilities (as opposed to monitors) ? I've been using them for quite some time now and it just feels like EQing is taking far longer than it should. |

yes, you need good monitors. you will notice that it is much easier to mix and eq. i have only got the wharfedale dimond pro 8.1 active monitors, they were only about £150 new and i was really pleased with the sound quality for this price range. i know there not top of the range but they pack a good punch and sound really crisp and i love nothing more than to wait till everyone is out and crank them right up with some slamming psy running through them

i would look at a few reviews and maybe the "mother of all monitors" thread first and maybe get abit more advice from some people. |
