well, after few minutes of thoughts i choosed write this short (i hope so) review. i know that alot of ppl know and like deep dive corporation album "support local groover" but not less ppl still didnt hear the "blackmail recordings" that was release on Jublee records last year (2001).
the concept of a music here more or less same like in previous releases - chill groove.
they continue with this way and realy came to new levels of harmonic and music skill here. its flow towards your ears sounds cake. slow, groovy and emotional music that have all this litlle tricks that make good music to next level - amazing.
in one of the trax (T2 - Bassic) u can hear like german jazz legend Hellmut Hattler play his hipnotic bass lines and its sounds sooo chilly. btw - the new deep dive live perfomance include this Hattler in. as i understood their next album probbably will collobaration between them.
anyway, very nice album and a must for everybody who know what is rolling papers.

trak list:
1.the island
2.bassic
3.deep heart
4.mark dub
5.u got mail
6.pianoforte
7.jazztalk
8.relaxer
9.lucsus

ah,and dont forget to check their new album that will release next month on Jublee rec.

From the "Blackmail recordings" I really enjoyed "pianoforte"...very "grrovy & jazzy":)!
I also got myself entertained with deep dive's xperimetal project " BOX OF FROX" ...( "Floordiving" Free Form Rec. 2001 )
ANY COMENTS???

last night i heard the both D.d. corp. albums one after another, and "blackmail" is like a sequel but it progressed, they added nice jazzy elements, kept the warm sound and funky atmosphere, and there's really nice guitars too ;)

yeah, this guys know what is guetar and not on trash distortion side.. they know play it gentle and just perfect.. litlle riffs that do their music big..

about box of frox - great, great, great stuff...
i like it very much.. same funky progress music but more on house/dance part of it..
