"VA Techtales" (Electric Powerpole Records) is compiled by Moses / Muggi Dane...who was, as Anyer said, part of the legendary Bufo project.
he also released a track on this compilation. but there have been released many tracks from Psypox or Moses/Muggi D during the last years...even some of the very rare last Bufo tracks. so it's hard to say which one you mean

hey guys! i'm compiling a VA release for Glitchy.Tonic.Records. compilation title will be "Vanaheimr" and the style should be smooth organic morning psygressive. demo tracks are very welcome, but note the mentioned style, so no machine gun basslines and no hardcore dark techtrance please! thanks for reading!

from Cosmic Conspiracy Records' website:
*Update*For the record, Cosmic Conspiracy Records does NOT release or produce Zenonesque"
We release, produce and promote Minimal Progressive Psy, Organic EDM, style pioneered by labels such as Cream Crop Records, interzone,Digital structures,Flying rhino, etc naming an entire genre after one label seems silly to us"
Call it, dark prog,Haunted House,Psygressive, alternative psy , organic techtrance,Underground, whatever....but please don't pigeonhole an entire genre ,and our field of expertise by attaching another labels moniker to it. After all this style has been around alot longer then zenon records, full respect for bringing good music and artists to the masses, we are happy for them as a label and that there name has now become a descriptive adjective even main stream brand however we wish to clarify, our sound is our own, not another labels"*
----------------------------------------------------------------
... and on fb Hedonix say:
We are glad that Aviel made this statement. Having been influenced immensely by the pioneering psychedelic progressive labels mentioned above we have always wondered why the name zenonesque came to represent the entire genre. massive respect to zenon for their contribution and all, but to classify the psygressive/dark prog sound based on a label which came about relatively recently in the history of the genre simply indicates a lack of awareness of its origins on the part of whoever coined the term.
----------------------------------------------------------------
interesting thoughts. i understand the point of CCR and Hedonix, it makes sense. On the other hand i was thankful that Basilisk invented this term as it makes sense as well. the purpose of the term 'zenonesque' was to draw a line between today's aussie/nz styled progressive sound and european style progressive on one side and dark industrial techtrance on the other side. especially regarding the european style progressive such a line was absolutely necessary. there was one term 'psychedelic progressive' also 'psyprog' and 'psygressive' for 2 completely different sounds. the european progressive, at least from let's say 2004 onwards, was actually nice melodic, possibly hypnotic trance but not psychedelic in my opinion. the progressive sound that came from australia/new zealand, again let's say from 2004 onwards, was completely different. there were dark twisted tunes and also beautiful organic tunes, but always very psychedelic and much less uplifting and melodic than the european "psyprog". so, like i said a term that stresses the difference was very needed.
anyway interesting subject, would like to know your thoughts.
