Dark Trance mexican labels or producers???

Is everyone in Mexico only interested in progressive/ morning and full on cheesy trance. Are there any mexican dark psy labels or promoters (producers i know a few)

hi jhanna! as label i think we dont have too much choice huh:) but that why i know there is many people who likes dark psy, also im very interest in this kind of psy ! its fair that we have good dark psy at night in parties, because eveerybody plays the same all the time in the party;) i want shift comes to mexico! so i hope we can get something

Hey whats up guys,
Im Alex from northern mexico, since we started producing parties we have been based on the dark psytrance from one of our closest city scenes of influence wich is San Francisco. We are trying to promote darker psytrance artists to our audience, many people are very comfortable listening to dark tunes in the states of Sonora, Sinaloa, Baja California and Nuevo Leon as of now and hopefully the interest in this style of music is spreading and growing.
Although most of mexico is mainly focused on more of a mainstream psytrance I think some of the labels,promoters and producers around mexico will be turning into the next step of dark psytrance soon.
Luckily all of mexico is a very open to different styles of music when it comes to psytrance, there is an audience for everything now and people are starting to accept darker psytrance. So I think Mexico´s Dark Psytrance scene will definately be growing widely within the next months

hey alex,
do you have any info on how to find out about North Mexican parties? I'm from AUstin and went to the chemical crew party in Icamole last March and had an incredible time, but then the next time we went to Monterrey was for Spiralfest 3 and then we were supposed to see Infected Mushroom recently but ended up not going because we couldn't find anything about the location at all even the night before.

hi shove! i see that u undestand perfectly what im talking about. i like progressive and morning sounds as well as intelligent fullon. but ive seen that in parties here in mexico as u said, everyone plays the same style all night (cheesy fullon), and i think we deserve having quality nighttime music and dark psy for the right time of the party. i think that many people have the idea that it is morning-progressive versus dark psy or something.. i say that everything at the right time,, these genres are complementary. we could take the example from sweden (my main influence for trance) where progressive and dark psy coexist without any problems, each having its own space... hope things will change soon and people and promoters become more open minded towards these issue.. by the way shove.. if u re bringing shift to mexico send me a pm... i also make parties and would love to have him in one as well as aleph (phyx),,

sesto sento - sneaky sneaky, im lovin this track right now. how come this isnt event hasn't been posted? Bodhi, if it weren't for you i would have never known! im really looking forward to this, mexican trance kids are always friendly and the venue looks really kooky.

It would be really nice to hear some dark mexican sounds. I can only imagine what the minds down there could come up with.
Social climates sometimes dictate musical style. In the US ive noticed that dark trance has gotten more prevelent as the Bush admin takes away more and more freedoms
so i can only imagine what might come out of a few twisted mexican minds

thats not promotion. Is there a post on here detailing the event,links to it, a detailed lineup? no, its a comment pertaining to the mexican scene, and an oberservation made regarding a link in the conversation.
As a result of those 2 posts, im going to fly down to mexico from SF for it, is that a bad thing, the way you go on about it, you might think so
Sesto or that event doesnt really have anything to do with dark, or mexican labels,I totally agree, but big whoop te do !! Its one post, deal with it, is it that big a deal you feel the need to try and censure what some one says
i swear about 80% of the people here on isra need to take a chill pill and not get so edgy over everything. Sit back smoke a spliff and relax, whats the fun of being in a scene like this is everyone is so uptight about every little thing

heey jhanna soon for what i hear and know ther will be some new dark labels at least 2 here in mexico one is black code that will be released this year a lot of people is working on this to bring more people to the dark sideeeee and the other is on hands of logrythm a very good live act from mexico city aaandd peopleee stay on topic sesto sento has nothing to do with dark haha  |
