i didnt get the chance to listen to the new album, but the live show in london, and previous listening to few of the new tracks last year allready i know this album is a perfect stormer, amezing work by the dark soho boys that been working more then a year to bring up a new dark soho style, but still reminds us of the old stuff.unboring style, all the track are so diferent from one to another ,and that's makes it a special one.the live show is also one of the best i seen in this scene, for sure a great album.

track 7 got the basic full-on bass line that everyone use.

indeed that is the exact same bassline we have so far heard in 9 thousand 6 hundred and forty-eight tunes. so we all know what the full on heads are going to say once they hear this tune. "KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLAAAAER"

for my part, i think this album is really good. lately almost all full-on albums sound the same, and no difference here. track 7 which is the full-on track of the album is nothing different for me.
what i like here is the musical parts of the album, in particular the two sitar tracks.
what i think was weird for me about this album was that it didn't have too much of the dark-soho feel (at times even sounding a bit like infected mushroom), what i mean is that if i had heard this album from a new artist i would've thought this is great i found someone new that deserves listening. and i'm not saying i don't intend to hear this album a lot now, but i did want a bit more of the darker church organ, guitar tracks
all in all, really musically briliiant tracks in this album, but for whomever's looking to get kickass dancefloor mayhem, look elsewhere. i really think they should've made a whole ambient album with the sitar, could've been great.
still, i would definately recommend listening to this album.           Super-teen extraordinaire Freakazoid! Freakazoid!

yes! I agree...between these two sitar tracks and 'My Wish' off of Combustion...I would definately like to see more ambient/chillout tracks from these guys.

I don't have anything against musicians changing their style, on the contrary I expect them to do so. But changing style in order to become more satisfactory to bigger audience and changing philosophy so that your artist name is no more applicable just can't be good. Having in mind that this trio honors heavy metal as well but their music becomes softer I must conclude that commercialism has taken over. Liked one track though, it's called "Away", but I rather keep this CD away from my player as well.

black_necro,

You assume quite a lot about this duo, and the reasons behind why their style has changed and evolved in the way in which it has. Please keep in mind, softer music does not equal more commercial music!!! To think that any artist with the word "dark" in their name be restricted to producing a particular style or mood of music is just silly. But I think the title of this album takes care of any of the confusion...just my thoughts

hi all ... well i tryed to avoid actually replaying on this thing but i do have a few things to say :
1. killer revew lauryn i like it alot 10x (K)
2. thanks for all of u that took the time to say their honest opinion about this album
3. for all of u guys that thinks DARK soho meens DARK music im sorry u guys but im afraid there is another aspect to that . dark soho is just a name... the music is (for me anywayz) emotional & deep, ment to make u feel somethign comming from inside of u , feelings that are stored in your heart .
4. time changes man & man changes time , we r doing this for about 5 years now maybe more... we (me & rizo) dont feel so dark any more.... wev been doing this for long time now same same but differant... time to cahnge.. try new things.. see how that is doing for us (feeling wize). for al ofu thinking that comertializem got to do with it .. well .... what can i say ... it got notign to do with it ... & if it gets more ppl to like our style.. fuck yeah ... i meen we make music for our selves & for the ppl who wanna listen to it ... if u liek it then we did our job if u dont liek it then im sorry ill try next time but what we do as artists is reflecting our soul into the music for u guys to enjoy... & for all thouse who say its full on its light its this its that .. yeah yeha yeah ... whateva... this is what we do .. thast what we did .. this album got it ALL in it...

hope u got my point
