1. Dark Soho - The New Age
2. Dark Soho - D.M.I.S.H
3. Dark Soho - The 14th
4. Dark Soho - Kerberos
5. Dark Soho - Noise 6
6. Dark Soho - Combustion
7. Dark Soho - Save Me God (Remix)
8. Dark Soho - The H
9. Dark Soho - My Wish
10. Dark Soho - Uring Saracoma (Live MPEG Video)

How nice with some combustion in this arctic temperature. Dark Soho sure have their unique style, full on / tech gothic trance.

#1. The album starts well with The New Age, there's a really nice melody 03:22 in the track, but unfortunely it doesn't last long. Why?

#2. DMISH (strange name) is a bit techno-like track aided by guitars.

#3 The 14th is the best track on the album but it's also already released (VA - Digital Tribe). It goes out hard and evolves to a real gothic stomper!

#4 Kerberos also starts techno-like until about half the track when the gothic strings comes in.

#5. Noise 6 is just... noise, almoust tech-trance, unfortunely not good though :-(

#6. Combustion is the album title track, it starts with a strange drum pattern that sounds really good, as usual a melody joins in after about half the track, but this time it's there a bit longer which makes it better.

#7. Save Me God (Remix), I haven't heard the original, but this track actually have vocals. Sounds like Marilyn Manson or something, but almoust whispering. I dont know if they improve the track...

#8. The H is a little bit calmer, but nothing happens in this track.

#9. My Wish is a short and downtempo track, wouldn't ever believe this is Dark Soho. It's pretty nice and relaxed.

#10. Uring Saracoma (Live MPEG Video), the original was one of the best tracks on Dark Soho's first album (though there it was called "Uine Saracomm"), here's an updated version, not better though.

Overall it's impossible not to compare Combustion with Sun Spot. Sun Spot was much more varied, on Combustion all tracks are very alike each other. This is not the kind of music you hear every day though, as I said Dark Soho have their unique style, so it's nice with some variation. Some killers on this album are track 1, 3(!), 4 and 6(!) The others just lacks in something. Final rating 6/10

Good review, i tend to agree, sunspot, the digital version alot better in my opinion. although the production here is very good. and the arrangement is great too. the bass in this album is making my neighbours hate me and thats a good sign for music... something is lacking... maybe cause tech-trance is not my cup of tea? maybe its too heavy for me? i dont know, cant put my finger on it. good job overall though. i like 3,7 the most.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

Very nice cd. I really like the sound of the synths on this one. Although it almost as beating your own child , I hate it when they bring in the guitars.           "I don't really come from outer space, I'm not crazy!"

Ok here we go.

Yes the israeli guys have their own style and i give them a lot of credit for that, people in our days usually copy each other.

My 2 favorite tunes from this one are The 14th and Save Me God Remix. Both tracks have amazing melodies and backround atmosphere and are real killers on the dancefloor,Save Me Gor Remix has one of the best melodies in the end that i have ever heard,i also liked a lot the guitar part in The 14th.

A track that i also liked is The H which has a superb melody in the begining and a very nice rythm and beat.

The tracks that i didnt liked at all are Human Combustion that i found noisy and Noise 6 which is too metal music for me,yes i am one of those guys that does not like too many sounds played at the same time especially when guitars and vocals are combined together.

I found the rest of the tracks preety average but there is also a track that is just for morning home listening that i preety much enjoyed,My Wish.

This is a nice album for guitar and dark music lovers, some tracks can really kill the dancefloor in the night hours where there are no lights in the club.

I really recommend though The 14th and Save Me God Remix to everyone because these 2 are really really good tracks.

Thanks to Shane Gobi for this album.

Just a question.

Psyshop has a tracklist of 9 tracks.

I have a cd with 10 tracks in different order than psyshop.

And Goblim has a tracklist with also 10 tracks but also in different order than mine edition.

Can anyone enlighten us what is the correct tracklist?

Shane?           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!
