Israel's finest Dark Soho present another masterpiece full of emotion and energy with Combustion, their 2nd studio album since the highly acclaimed debut Sunspot. Deep, dark and brooding, Combustion's dose of atmospheric synths, driving rhythms and melancholic metal riffs, combine to create a spontaneous explosive reaction.
Featuring ten tracks with an exclusive remix of the sonic dance floor killer 'Uring Saracomâ' with a bonas mpeg video of Uring Saracoma live, Combustion is a truly stunning and full power frontal assault of the seven senses. Dark Soho once again delivers to the dance floors a nerve shattering album that literally tears apart the boundaries of the psychedelic trance genre.
BIO:
Dark Soho are three talented musicians -Boxer, Rizo and Zeev from Haifa, Israel. Dark Soho formed in early 1998, a fusion between 2 separate projects - 'Soho', a collaboration between Boxer and Rizo, who had previously played in metal bands together, and Zeev's solo project 'Dark Entity'. After meeting at Infected Studios and producing their first track 'The Fusion', they decided to work together under the name 'Dark Soho'.
With extensive releases on psytrance compilations on Alchemy, Sphere and Hom-mega Records, Dark Soho have a reputation for ecstatic and energetic live shows which stand out next to many other live trance acts with their heavy guitar laden riffs and symphonic sound on stage. Having toured extensively over the last year from Mexico to Japan, Dark Soho are currently on tour in the US to promote their new album Combustion.

After the longest wait, finally an album to listen to - this one is full power, dark, hard, gothic and in your face. Dropped DMISH at Earthdance and it destroyed, track 1, 2, 6 are my favourites, 6 is a storming triplett with helpings of guitar finely interlaced with searing psyriffs. 20/10 from the skragg (Timecode Records - SA) |

Its like a The Delta album with only trax like 'Standby'... Amazing piece of work. They crancked the danceability a bit up without losing their familiar blend between gothic organ chords and heavy guitar which worked so good on their debut. Gotta admit that the stuff is a bit more linear this time with less unexpected melodic breaks, less guitar masturbation but that surely adds to the floor quality...
Productionwise DS got it right this time...crystal clear yet dirty...
