Could not agree more, the variety of the tracks and theme of album is really one of a kind, looking for progressive, and only find crap...maybe this is what you search for...
Heavy dark progressive with a slightly comical approach in some tracks...makes this probably one of the most importent releases
of 2010.
Minimal Criminal, strikes hard with his debut album, Minimus Maleficarum.
Unique progressive like this is hard to find nowdays....but this one...i really recomend...

Yes,ppl, prepare yourselves for one FAT ASS album. No 2 tracks sound the same on this one. Some are psy and comical, some are total darkness.
Some ppl even have called our sound industrial! I can't agree with that but since I'm a big fan of the psy-techno sound, expect some dark techy tracks from us in 2011.

i totaly lost interestin in this style after ZENON came up with TRETAMETH... it was SO overated from what it realy was.... and even SENSIENT that made a masterpiece ( antifluoro ) walked toward this more-aceptable-by-audience style from TRETAMETH....style which imo was GAY.....it was a big disappointment ..... and everybody started to speak as tretameth was decent dark progressive, i cant understand it till today....
but imo there are realy masterpieces on good old dark progressive like bruce vein from cujurious , the good old lives from minimal criminal here in brasil , as i said above the antifluoro from sensient and one artist that i was shocked that no one commented in here....... igneous sauria....

it's all a matter of taste ! imo Tetrameth never made dark(!) progressive music...it's more progressive but innovative and still different and it's not only a sequence of effects and atmos, it's quite musical.
also i don't hear Sensients movement towards Tetrameth's style...i've heard theirs sets here in europe this year and it's definitely different from each other

i agree with it..u said with the right words but people were callin it dark progressive BLEH lol......
about the sensient hmmm maybe he didnt went to TM style but he left apart the antifluoro style which imo was really inovative as well... gave the dark progressive style a taste of quality coz no dark progressive artist would care bout quality ....
but i dont know bout sensient RIGHT NOW ATM... as i said , i lost interest in this style...

I think there's a case to be made to split psy(chedelic) techno and dark progressive.
Listen to artists like Opsis, Opsy, PhaseTech - so different from producers like Urucubaca. That's the real "dark progressive". But Fuzzion or Nukcear Ramjet, Midimiliz or`X-dream are (IMO) psytech acts, those who relly emphasize the technoid part (see VX`- Fiction, out on Nachtstrom Schallplatten in 2009 as 2LP). |

Yup, Well Said! i Belive Fuzzion MidiMiliz and the other People Are Tech-Trance, the Sounds Are Mixable with Dark Prog, but it is Different on the essence... |
