Progressive is not psychedelic thats why. Just electronic music.

its all electronic 
'psychodelic' music for one may not be 'psychodelic' for another......
i personally find many progressive acts 'psychodelic'....
i think someone was asking about some dark progressive..........i personally like cujorious one, sensient,krumelur, older beat bizarre and tetrameth........

I agree with you in this point but I believe progressive trance and psychedelic trance is two different things.
We have different music tastes but we both know to respect others opinion and I think thats the most important my friend

no no, there is a difference between psychedelic music and music that works on psychedelics. Most progressive isn't psychedelic by the term psychedelic (hence not psychedelic like acidOacid wrote), but it works fine on psychedelics. Catch my drift ? ^^

yes please, I will take some progressive and dark! I agree that most progressive is not so psychedelic, though there are some that make it really trippy! GrooveZone's comp Afterhourz has some nice deeper trippier prog, and Behind Blue Eyes makes it pretty trippy, to me at least.
Though nothing beats a good old fashioned twisted, high bpm thrashdance!

im sorry.......i dont agree......
and frankly.....their is no way of proving that it is or it isnt.....so for anyone to say that it is not.......and for anyone to say that it is......there is no way of validating anyone's case......so becareful before you make any absolute statements with out having any way of proving it.....
it is just our opinions.....and nothing else....

Enya is a beautiful and psychedelic listen while shrooming IE. Is Enya psychedelic ambient/chill music? No, it's not. So it works fine on psy, and will effect you in a psychedelic sense. But it ain't labelled psychedelic music. argh, you see what I mean? ^^
