Why not just read one of the older topics then, instead of starting a new thread ?
There is something as "Dark Progressive" also.
Not all progressive is fluffy lollipoptrance.
I like good music, nevermind the color, it just needs to fit my mood at the time... and that part of me changes.

You mean THE CUJORIUS ONE right?, and i guess i`d call it dark minimal trance... dont u think?, like krumelur at his begginings, or Tromesa... at leastt thats my opinion

Yes - Dark Progressive / Tech Trance.
His style is inbetween the two.
He himself labelled it as "Pro-Agressive Trance" I believe. He can call it what he likes, but I dont think that one became an established genre
Heavy Dark Tech Trance / Progressive Psy is what I call it Depends on the track really, some have more of a tech feel to them than others.
Dark Progressive = Lunaspice "Reflexion"
Tech Trance = X-Dream "Irritant"
Dark Tech Trance = The Delta "Scizoeffective"
Then again, its just labels to put on music:-)

i definitely would consider cojurious one dark progressive.........krumelur,-(specially minimal animal) sensient,beat bizarre (back in da dayz).........the darker side of progressive.....
what a great sound........
but as far as liking PROGRESSIVE or DARK better........their is good and not as good quality in both these sub genres......
to say one is better than the other is purely contextual.....
for me......i prefer progressive psychodelic........
progressive chunes are ranging from low 130's to mid 140's......a lot of diversity in sound. i prefer my grooves more in the 140 bpm.'s range.........especially those hard driving clear beats.......with those constant bass lines.....with really nice 'psychodelic' and 'goa' sounds especially like older atmos like the 'headcleaner' goa progressive style.......
even now......the newer stuff......like freq and liquid soul..........that direction is nice as well........kind of a techy proggy sound to it.........
or if you like 'melodic' there is music like andromeda or sensifeel or vibrasphere which is really nice in the morning for me.......
or if ya are chunkadelic delight listener.....sensient, krumeler and SCS....
so many diverse and wonderful styles within proggy now........
even on the darker side.......their is some nice tracks as well.......
but i am a proggy froggy at heart.....

??? Exuce me? Whawhat!? Progressive is like any other music genre. It has it's branches. And there also exist Progressive trance with psychedelic influences. Have you heard the Dragon Tale compilations from Tatsu Recordings? REALLY smooth and psychedelic imo. But hey, psychedelic is so much, and so little.
