Don't you think that Denmark is the next big thing in the scene? They have Iboga records, who are releasing great music by Danish artist (Beat Bizarre, Llopis, Fabel, Reefer Decree, Phoney Orphants, Emok...), and they have the new Ayahuasca Records, who are also releasing stuff from uprising danish artists like - Cubica, Nasa, and Gome. oh, and don't forgot "The Gnome Effect", those guys rock... anyway, is the danish psy scene really the next big thing, or am i wrong?

Well man if you live in denmark, you might think that iboga for sure has been disapointed the last year, becourse of the partys they have had here, only progressiv house and that for sucks so much, becourse iboga isent known for prog house..
but i will give you right dude..iboga is biig & so will ayhuyasca be one day.& crotus rec hopfully will :) they will realease another style than danish labels are know for. such as australien music and comadose witch is not in style with all they other artist here in denmark!!

Peace out

hey i think you are definately right danny, but for the wrong reasons.
for sure those artists and the labels are big, and will continue to be so, but the real rising talents in the danish scene is the crazy aarhus crew!!!!
watch out for: jahbo/gizmo/meteloids, grapes of wrath, syntax error, muschaw, insane behaviour, viscious spiral, nemo, alrune, midipin powers etc.
these guys trully rock and are thankfully bringing some much needed PSYCHEDELIA back to the scene.
stay tooned...

Well i think it's a statement about the quality of danish music, the fact that you can have really varied styles (the minimal and the maximal maybe Cannibal?) and always with great talent and quality.
Choosing is a matter of taste, i personally love Iboga and i believe the Ayahuasca folks are off to a nice start, but the crazy psychedelic producers are also real good from what i can gather.
Bom Bom!

Apropos Denmark:
I know a lot of us are planning a trip to Germany this summer (VooV etc.., I live in Munich at the moment). Well, you might want to add Copenhagen to your trip-plan (very close to Hamburg, less then 50 euro to get there from Hamburg). Christiania quarter especially. check it out:
