dont u think some ppl are not interested in an orgy?
i mean for some ppl (and im one of them) sex is not just sex.
if there is no love involved (and i mean true love) then i dont want to do it.

Wako - I agree. I'm talking about love. True love. Not possesive love. Not - "if you love him you can not love me" kind. Love to the universe, to all the people in it, and to ouselves and our bodies. Love to the human kind. Without possesion, without shame.

true love is based on lots of things and most important is knowing the other person.
and i mean knowing.

only some more things i want "share" ;) with u..
jek keruac and tom woulf was a writers that "shared" about freedom syndrom with ppl AFTER its happened.. i mean while all the balagan gone they were IN..
i haved read all their books (also by ken KIZI of course ;) but more for literature pleseare then for learning about era) and they realy was in the center of gatherings but not as writers but as future writers..
i believe some of us (and hope so) will write something... its about time...
about rest of things.. u absollutelly right about "slang level" and about the real vibe..
but what can we do ?? we live in another film.. the world much more ugly and .. how i will call it.. mmm.. "small".. i mean no more trust in freedom,no more trust in human positive.. in global..
but some parts of trance culture are realy remind the 60's... after all we like same things.. music drugs and (here is a change) MONEY.. sex is more money function.. these days.. that nights..
as i see the things we realy have to move to this "trance is dance music" position.. becoze the music is not a main key in culture.. trance came from the africa (and it was a while ago) and used to be shamanic dance rythm.. i believe that trance dancefloor is a place for this shamanic/trible dance (expiriences)..
the key word of trance culture is might/have to be word PSYCHEDELIC.. not a music meaning this time as more ppl behavor meaning..
open minds ppl is a key of culture..

zombi you takje my words man :) i happpy that some else know that fact.
i think that the process that now the world civs is passing , will show them at the end that everyone is creating his life style has you like but still this is a long process that the world just born into that, time will pass till you'll find more open mind ppl that for example : dont hate the arbic lang because the plastenis is explode in the middle of tel-aviv.

I agree. This is one of the things that occupy me nowadays. We are trying to find an easy way for electronic music lovers to consume texts that are related to the electronic music world of values. Something like music, text, music, text, on CD, not in parties (don't worry). People will come to parties to dance and discuss the texts if they like to(after this - an orgy, just kidding). It will encourage party lovers to get the discs and listen to them again, hopefully. There are some great texts out there, and if somebody with the right voice will read it, it will be easy to consume. It will put some culture into our scene. Music creators will have a new source of inspiration. I believe it will increase the CD sales, so, to all the Money lovers - here we go.
Maybe we will find a way to increase the content consumption in parties as well, but this is much harder. Our motivation is not financial but - to use the great popularity of electronic music to educate ppl. lots of ppl don't read books. lots of ppl listen to music. Let's combine. The exact ratio between music and texts is an interesting question. Some texts will be psy advantures stories - like the old radio shows, but some philosophic and even political. Again, finding the right ratio is very important (like finding the right beat, if you want). I hope you think it is a good idea. I will happen anyway. |

The difference between the 60's and today, is that during the 60's people believed they could make a change.
Today, people are not idealistic anymore, and they understand that they are just a infinitely small part of this world, so they try to change themselves, not others.
Trance parties is a place where u can enjoy some good vibes for a few hours/days. And after that coming back to the cold hard reality.

and we all know it.
now days i first come for the music, and the chance to dance like crazy with a lot of ppl.
that i guess is the meaning of rave.
if i got luck and the vibe is there then it is a great bonus.
