Well, the name of this event is the translation for "Give trance a chance", a demonstration that took place in israel, in the streets for thousands of people. In Rio we cannot make trance parties anymore, so we are getting organized to fight back for our rights to produce eletronic music parties, out side the city, in a safe total open air giant beautifull discoteque "MEDLEY", with all legal rights to be open and to play whatever they want... all details...

The Party "DÊ UMA CHANCE PARA O TRANCE", is happening with the intention of getting signatures to create an ONG “COMUNA RAVER”(this is not the definitive name). For the party we made a line up where all the djs share their sets, so like these we get as many artists as we can to contribute with their presence.
The Event will have 24hrs duration. Our intuit is to make possible to any one to go there during all Sunday on until 22:00. We need as many signatures as we can to make a strong and active ONG to look after the rights that we have to make e.music events and we are not allowed.
The ONG don’t have a name or a president defined. That will be voted by e-mail after this party, and every three months we will make another ONG metting like this one.
The bases and all the interests of the ONG are explained in the Project "Rave Holistica" (no English copy yet), downloadable at http://paginas.terra.com.br/noticias/osindico/rave_holistica.doc
The whole idea of the ONG is to act in defense of the rights of making electronic music events...

I just came back from a party in Santos where the police invaded and busted more than 10 guys...
It´s really sad to see all that shit, all that abuse of power...Shit police oficcers that wants to be at the newspapers...
