Stumbled onto the artists site
http://www.cybernetika.de/

and was BLOWN AWAY! So many artists trying to reinvent the Goa sound for the new psychedelic dancefloor but this guy hits the nerve : full flowing atmospheres and melodies on top of newschool dark basslines.

If you love Goa then here's evolution!!

some info...

Cybernetika is Lars, a 20 years old music addict from Cologne, Germany. I have been infected with music from the earliest ages on. In my childhood, I have been learning the classical piano for 6 years. Some day I discovered Metal and Industrial and sticked with listening to that style pretty long because I loved the raw energy and the deep soundscapes.
In 2003, my musical spectrum expanded when I first listened to Goa and Psytrance, a music that took me on many journeys. I instantly fell in love with this trippy style of music.

n the same year, I decided to found my creative platform Cybernetika. I started producing some Breakbeat and Acid tracks until my music became more and more filled with Goa and Psy elements.
In 2005, I released my first album "Paralysis" online for free download from my website. People liked the atmospheric, multilayered Goa on the album, but I soon moved to another style which got my attention recently: Dark Psy. In 2006, I made my second full length release online, called "Promo #1 2006" featuring Dark, melodic, yet atmospheric Psytrance.
I like to describe my style as "Sci-Fi music" because I am fascinated a lot by Science-Fiction in literature and movies and it inspired the soundscapes you can find in Cybernetika's music a lot.
I also don't want to be bound to one single style. I produce to whatever images I have in my mind, and sometimes the results are more like Breakbeat, Industrial or Dark Ambient, yet my focus remains on Psychedelic Trance.

Does he play live ? Any additional info?

... with the current state of 'creativity vs production value' and the amount of artists that only stress the 2nd, this project shows massive potential. Can't wait to see what comes from collabs with other artists and a good mastering job... Bombax vs Cybernetika sounds sick!

how did you know dub how did you know!

too bad about the inactivation, sounded like we could have had a good time under the cashew tree.

I've played a couple of cybernetikas tracks and they work better with older goa like parasense. samadhi sounded similar in 2005. complete changearound in 2007. collabs and tracks on VAs mastered in the same style took that sound to a different level and it opened the music up to a broader spectrum of DJs.

not many ppl are open to hear goa on the dancefloor anymore. they want that cleancut psy sound. artists have been trying to find the balance between the 2. full on was an effort. this is something with a serious connection with the roots, it just needs a little more edge to make it commercially.

i'm starting to go back to loving that old goa sound again, i think its definitely making a strong come back. i loved pure planet vol 2 with afgin, filteria, khetzal pleiadeans and a few others, beautiful stuff to drop in a morning set, great production and the mastering is top notch. I think the old goa sound with a few new production tricks and some crisp mastering can work the dancefloor into a true spiritual frenzy unlike the flat lateral trip morning music these days puts you on. The elevation jus doesnt happen.

This mans a genius. The more I listen to Cybernetika the more it reveals itself. Intertwined goa melodies add such gutwrenching emotion... gives each track an identity. Real journey music right here!
Thank you Lars!
