The most wanted Ari 'Alien Project' Linker & Jean 'Orion' Borelli AKA 'Crunchy Punch' have blend togheder a sweet melodic & verry psychodelic album !!!

1. Enjoy 2004

2. Pothead

3. Synthetic Hoover

4. Crunchy smokers

5. Twinfreaks

6. Stoned rmx

7. Maximum velocity

8. Down in Negev

9. Innersphere

Review :

1. a sweeet opening an even sweeteer album grat kicks&basses allot of talking and verry spacey samples - psychodelic indeed saying some shit bout d.n.a and stuff great piece *RESPECT*

2. i remember my 1st pothead hehehe felt exacly like the opening, after smoking it... u just feel dizzy and shit that tracks gets u ther hehehe grat piece my kind of BPM kick & bases good percusions again a good psychodelic vibe aroudn the entire track and album this is a a great Progressive track "tony ony ony ony ony... exacly #$#@%#^#" got no idea what they were saying ther

3. Hoover ? isnt it a vacume cleaner or something ? well "#%#$%$ is what ppl does, what ppl dont do is dmt" i'm not sure again i got a problem with understanding lyrics another more progressive track... sweet strings at the start... great samples...

4. Crunchy ? hehe i dunno why the crunchy but k... every1 with its own problems
Loved the begining i can just sit for and repeat it like 3 times the entrance of the kick and base just killed me sweet melodies and again psychodelic at its best !!! 5:30-end BEST PART "you was smoking more then just dope, dont you ?!" this one killed me !!! its sweeeet hard and good - MY FAVOURITE !!!

5. scary pads and melody at the begining
but then it comes in good (though could be better) though this track is scary all the way its goood gives soem variety 4:43...!!!

6. the most psychodelic trk in the album... the opening makes my jaw trimble.... dunno why that pad that is going along with the trk is wierd ? good ? dunno this track is beyond my understanding but its great

7. hehe liked the opening (Again) they did great job on this cd i'm telling ya good bass and kick, great melodies good breaks... just sweeeet

8. this was the 1st single i got from this cd, and this one is so sweeet (btw : i live in the negev so i guess i got some sympathy )
great basses&kicks wierd melodies at the end and some talking "u gotta realize that ur dreaming at the 1st place... hey man is this a dream..." i think its been used hehehe (DHU...!!!!!)

9. AMAZiNG CHiLLOUT TRACK !!!!!!!!!! nuthin i can say more... i just luv it ! listening to it every night... have some kinda indish vocals ? dunno how to explain... just listen to it !!!

bottom line :

a great cd by thoes two guyz a nice cd, they kept a certain line and still every track has its own way to get to ur heart... just great job by the 'Crunchy Punch' especially listen to the chill trk great piece !!!

Hmmm... this cd is not my taste. It's the same kind of rhythm over and over for eight tracks. Only the last track is different. Maybe they're good for a single track on a compilation. Actually, that's where the Orion factor comes in... His latest album is almost exactly like this, so don't bother getting this if you already have that one. And quit with the shitty drug references already! Every track on this cd has them... No. I'll pass on this one!! There's way better stuff out there at the moment. Bottomline: Are you a die-hard Alien Project & Orion fan? Get it. If you're not... steer well clear of this one.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Thats what im telling everybody....if artists dont build up one album as a story ... its bad for them and all the business to have albums with no concept. I didnt like this release at all.
Im not a die hard fun of basic fullon, but this cd shows me 9 tracks that sound exactly the same. No soul, no spirit, just ordinary grooves. my opinion!           The Devil Is In Detail!

Rubberbass has played with old Akai samples.
Not original.
The Ram's fluites havn't freshlife. Just dead tones.
I think these fluite melodies have been extract from Shpongle Recycle Bin and inserted into a Crunchy Punch patterns during the latest moment.
Not conceptual.
Looks like last works from mr. Borelli too fast creative clone for e-music show buisness.
I agree with Christian.

ok, so ppl dnt seem too happy with this? Well the first track is absolutly rockin! Disagree if u must but had me off my seat! it starts good, finishes shit. Samey kinda sounds towards the end but the first 3 or 4 tracks are well psy/trippy enuff noises to keep me goin for a while!

Crunchy Punch is a collaboration between Alien Project (one of THE artists who started the whole full-on wave) and Orion.
Well, there's one positive thing i can say about the album: the production is very good. But that's about it. Now I'm sorry if I sound a little harsh on this one, but not one single track stands out for me. This is pure dancefloor DJ disposable material. It will work good for the fist month on the dancefloor, then it'll stay in some DJ's case until he decides to seel it on eBay for 2 euros... personally I don't even consider it's worth that!

Down in Negev is a little better than the others, especially because of a mysterious synth line that comes throughout the track. However I wouldn't consider that track as memorable either...

Innershpere is the mandatory down-tempo closing tracks with vocoders! However it could sound good, depending on the context it's listened in.

Conclusion disposable full-on dancefloor material... only 2 above-average tracks and not even those are worth buying the CD IMO. 3/10

As much as I dislike Mr. Linker's music and attitude, I think the Crunchy Punch is one of the better albums that came out in the 'Full-on' genere this year.
Although more 'full on', this is similar type of progressive-morning music to Star X's "Prepare to fly" style - dynamic basslines, sharp kicks and quite a bit of melody, but lacks the 'punch line' of the usual full-on tracks (start > buildup > break > rise > explosion). That is, IMO, one of the reasons so many of you didn't like it (or thought it was boring) - it doesn't simply 'deliver', but takes patience to go through the whole track- or album.

It seems like most of the people here got used to very easy, 'spoon served straight to mouth' music - and when something is not exactly it they tend to ignore it.
Well, I beg to differ; Although the whole genere is dull, I think that projects like Crunchy Punch and Star X are the true hope of Full On music in the long run. (by the way, did anybody hear the direct rip-off from Star-X's "Ocean View" in "Innersphere"?)

Seriously helen, you must be talking about a different cd. How can you say things like that? Star-X is great, in that I agree. But Crunchy Punch?? Nehhh it's the same song 8 times with some different patterns. Then a chill song slapped at the end and that's it. It's horrible and people avoided it at all costs I am happy to say since I never saw Psyshop put it in their charts...

Well i just got the cd ,and i am a bit disapointed..
I mean there is some nice stuff but i recognize too much sounds that Alien project used in his old album ...nothing new for me.
But i understand than for the new people in the scene it s can be a great album for sure
Let s hope some new and fresh sounds next time..
cheers

I think this combination between Alien Project and Orion is super.I had high hopes about this album and it for sure lived up to it.Very full on and I love this album. This is how full-on should sound.
