@Becktrank

As I'm sure you're aware, Linplug's Cronox is currently on version 4.

Version 2 has therefore long been discontinued and was never updated to suit modern 64 bit hosts. There's only the old 32 bit version which will presumably work on windows based 32 bit hosts or you'll need to use something like jbridge or 32lives so as to use it on a 64 bit host.

So the version you have will presumably work if only you bridge it first

Also, current versions are not as popular among psy producers - at least not for that particular use.

I know that, but are you sure it works only on 32bit systems? I really wanted that plug.

I have the Cronox3, Spectral and Crx2 from Linplug.

I read somewhere that the Crx2 is capable of loading Cronox2 presets. Does anyone knows it the sound is the same as using Cronox2?           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``

That's not what I said.

You can get the 32 version of it (the only one that's ever made) and use a bridge app to convert it to 64 bit, such as jbridge.

This is similar to what you'd have to do to use Sylenth1 (previous 32 bit version) on a 64bit host. Not ideal, but not a big deal

thanks frisbeehead

btw, i cant find the 32bit version either, looked all over the internet using google. Normally i dont have problems looking for a synth, but this one has been really a pain in the ass (also spherum)

quick question

All my plugs are 64, including sylenth i never nedeed to using anything such as jbridge.

If I use it with Cronox2, do I have to use it only one time to make the conversion, or I will need to use it every time I open my daw and pretend to use Cronox2?

Also if someone is using crx2 loading patches of Cronox2, are there any differences on the final output or is the same thing as using Cronox2?           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``

I just realized that what I was calling "crx2" is actually the Cronox 4 LoL           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``
