boom boom boom boom...I'm still dancing from this party. First off thanks to all of those that put this on...the best f-ing party I have had the fortune to go to in over a year. Son Kite ...what can I say...the best morning set I have ever been danced by. It just reached inside of me and moved me...I almost went crazy it was soooooooooooo beautiful. I wish I could remember there names, because they were the nicest and most genuine DJ's I have ever met. During there whole set they kept making eye contact with different people and smiling and feeding off our energy as we feed off there's. Just the best ever for me. What else can I say...Spook kicked some major ass at the end, and that Lady from Sweden. I think her name was Amily. She really kicked some major ass even though her set was really short. I wish I could remember all of the other DJ's that rocked, so that I could let them know how much I enjoyed there music, but so many of them just killed it. Well as always it was more than worth it to make the drive from down south because you from up north really know how to bring it. THANK YOU:)

Many, MANY Thanks! Paul, that was really an amazing party! Thank You SO much for Neuromotor (and Hyper Frequencies) friday nite!!! Shannon, those alters are really magnificent! Beautiful job on the decorations
everyone!!!

On our way to the party (I had Fred {Neuromotor}, Gilles {Hyper Frequencies}, Yeti and Esteban w/me) we stopped on the road so Yeti could video the party from out there... it not only Looked awesome from there, it Sounded aweseome from there too!

Neuromotor is the most amazing dancing experience of your entire life. Ever. [my 2 sense] And friday nite was no exception. As Fred started to play, I watched people appear out of the darkness, drawn onto the dance floor as if in a strange trance-like state, the music calling them to dance... Fred and Gilles rocked our socks off For Sure! {{{Thanks to everyone who made it possible for the MSR crew to stay here in SF after the Hawaii trip fell through... they all had a f*cking Great time here, and they all love the people of San Francisco!!!}}}

I was really glad to be able to see/hear Son Kite again. Their music is really beautiful, and I just Love the Violin!!!!!!!!! As I had to leave at noon on saturday, I missed CPU (major bummer too! I really wanted to see/hear Sam play) and Silicone Sound.

And Thanks to Mubali for sharing his time slot with the lovely dj Annelie -who threw down a very, very nice set!

love&peace,

well well well... words cannot describe this magical event... simply brillianti must say! i got there with my small army of troops at around 8pm on friday we set up campsite with 3 tents and a giant overhead thingie for sun shelter. right at first with only about 100 people there it was positive positive positive... the place looked great, the decoration was being setup it was like light up doors that on a closer inspection turned out to be small temples to various hindu gods. the sound was crystal clear and loud enough in an open desert surrounding. so now we wait.... music started at about 9ish and didnt stop till sunday afternoon at 4pm! apocalypse now joined the party at this point! local dj's really impressed me, i didnt know how good the scene was in SF and the selection of the dj's was top notch... no gms all day... no fear of playing non commercial sounds! god job guys! i really enjoyed Aeon's set with Christine... and nice to meet you btw, trance needs more goachicks like you. soon after came neuromotor, i've seen this guy back in NYC but man oh man what a show he puts on.. what energy! fred just lifts the crowd with his smile and guitars and crazy gestures, loved it. i wasnt a fan of the dj who came on after neuromotor act... local guy that made my wait for sonkite extremely long... but it came, and the 2 wizards started pounding the desert with those warm scando sounds. ahhh, nothing nicer then sonkite at 7am in the morning.... you could start to see where we were dancing and the place was breathtaking...seeing the crowd's face for the first time was a fun experience too! true masters of the live act and really great mixing by marcus... seb busted out the violin at one point and amazed us all i really loved the set, and so did everyone.... after that was some local dj's who played lots of sub6 stuff it was nice and clean for the morning... the place got really hot during the day, it was luckily equipped with a swiming pool and a mist maker thingie tent by the dancefloor... around 2pm was sid's set who played with prudence.. very nice selection by these 2 and good mixing. end of chapter one... i had to shut off my batteries for a while. i woke up and it was time for the neo-full on nite... silicon sound live and cpu... let me just say that these 2 guys are really something else... maybe its the european thing... i dont know, what awesome mixing, great skill. silicon sound played really great tracks, i liked the shell and electro body music alot. but mamamia, cpu!!!! i have never heard anyone do more damage to a dance floor like this guy. i must apologize and say that i underestimated his music... cause it knocked me upside my head and ripped me apart... me and the rest... all this with sami keeping a cool face on the decks and sometimes smiling when the crowd loses it... what a menacing commander he is! if anyone gets a chance to see this man live, do so! asap. everything after that was great! dancing some more, more of the same music from the local dj's but still great. the chillout room was ingenius! what a place to escape an igloo in the middle of the desert... what a party! everyone naked most of the time, free of any soceital chains... just juvenile and having carefree fun! gladly noone got hurt in this event... my friend was dancing on a hill for 5 hours from 6am-10am and was labeled thereafter "coockoo" by the crowd, but he is fine... just was alittle dehydrated paul paul paul, man you pulled it off! i must say, best party i;ve ever been to in the us of a. you guys in the west coast are lucky to have what you have, although i'm sure you worked hard to get to it! if this keeps up, you'll see me there again soon i assure you. big love to SF and the whole west coast. you guys rock!           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

still trying to collect my thoughts, all I have to say for now is it was a beautiful weekend, San Francisco rocks. The people there are really great. Thanks for making us feel at home everyone.

Some musical highlights for me:

-Nueromotor- Wasn't a big fan before but now I definetly am. Those guitars are fucking wicked. Him and his partner really have some nice energy to share with the crowd.
-Son Kite (big suprise there huh) Heard one or two tracks off their new album being played live and it sounds incredible. Live set in the morning made me go absolutely crazy.
-DOB- Really nice progressive DJ, came on right after Seb and Marcus and didn't miss a beat. Unfortunately my legs weren't cooperating and I had to hear this set sitting down.
-C.H.M. vs Tobal- Wow, great DJ set from these two, true tag team set with tight mixes and great track selection
*missed Silicon Sound and CPU live* damn...
-Waterjuice in the chillout dome- Walked into the chillout area and found a very nice suprise waiting for me. Sweet melodies mixed in with some extra funky beats- I definetly need to look out for their new CD coming out in December.

There were lots of great music played at this festival, this was just the cream of the crop for me. Me and my friends had a blast! Can't wait to do this again with you guys.           Both teams played hard

Many thanks to Goa Play for the AMAZING weekend they spent sooo many long hours planning...everything really came together full circle -trance, dance, and love within the community from all...it was great meeting all the new folks (from isratrance and around the world) and dancing up a storm and hanging out with all the regular crew....

Top 3 highlights of the party for me:

1. Neuromotor- Everything I have heard about this man is true....I have blisters on my feet from just the first night of dancing! Fred is a great producer, busting out with 2 tracks (at least) that he has made in SF on just this trip (excellent production, funkychunky bass, and surprisingly hard melodies) this man is truely a gem... he is really the funniest/craziest french man I have ever met....it impressed me to see him and his crew dancing like mad on the dancefloor to everyone else as well...always refreshing! Not to mention he is super nice too!

2. SonKite live at dawn- Live midi-violin sent uncontrollable tears running down my face (never happened w/trance before) an chills down my spine & arms- hauntingly epic! These guys set a new standard for a live set...

3. Holy Mother- Silicon Sound tore it up- he had the dance floor on fire...Literally...after throwing on 3 killer new skazi track and one of his own during his dj set...the bass in front of the dj stage caught on fire...Yes (safely put out and turned off)... this could have been poor planning on apart of the sound guy, but if you ask me it was because this guy's music was off the HOOK! I mean seriously bass that catches on fire- gimme more!

Thanks again Paul, Shannon, Tony & rest of Go Out And Play!

lovenlight,

*christine*

Wow!...what can I really say about this party? Truthfully it was one of the most intense experiences of my life filled with learning and love all the way through it.

It was great getting to meet all of the extended Isratrance family from back east and abroad! Thank you sOOOOOO much for being a part. Your level of dedication towards this music and community was felt in a big way by coming all the way out to SF to support our little family festival.

Also HUGE thanks to all the artists involved, C.P.U., Son Kite, Silicon Sound, Neuromoter, Hyperfrequencies, and all the locals in between. A weekend of music like none other that I have ever seen

Here are links to pictures that have been posted online, I hope you all enjoy them!

Till next time...
