Hey, I just bought and recieved two CPC albums; 'Über Den Angst' (Deja Vu Rec.) and 'Subliminal Messages' (No Comment Rec.). This is fucking amazing music, such vivid production and deep psychedelic patterns. Amazing. When I bought these albums I avoided two of his albums because of personal financial questions; 'CPC Da Friends - Violence' (Triplag Rec.) and 'CPC Project - Double Bubble' (Manic Dragon Rec.).

I used to own downloaded mp3's of Subliminal Messages and Violence. Violence I never got into but Subliminal Messages stole my heart (So I bought it). Double Bubble seemed very interesting and deep but Über Den Angst screamed my name the loudest.

According to me, this is my rating of the CPC albums:

1. Subliminal Messages
2. Über Den Angst
3. Double Bubble
4. Violence

Agree? [I feel maybe Über Den Angst will take spot number one as soon as I manage to wrap my brain around it]

Gotto love this producer, he' such a skilled person really making each sound as special as the whole package. I heard he's like a computer science, the way he opens them up and creates sounds to the smallest detail. Very special these tunes of CPC, something very deep.

*Respect.

Thanks for asking about my opinion

Not agreed even though it got a few references to a bit of tribal I still think (according to my taste) that it's too minimal and damn i really dislike those boring minimal bass lines that sound the same track after tack           www.beatagency.dk

Über Den Angst is, in my opinion his core album..very true and faithfull to his ideas..i mean, it was really something when it got out..cruelty on the dancefloor - no errors hehe

i also have the doble boble, mainly because of the last tune - zolods requiem, that is a hell of a tune, also very nice is balamut tune: a roler coaster ride!

these are my favs from him.the rest: violence i also have original, but it is way to fast for me.
subliminal messages never heard.           ...

Your welcome Happy you chose to share it.

!!TRIBAL ELEMENTS!!, defiantly. Also a huge reason why I get so hypnotized by his tunes. Strong point! I love his Phat sound/bass. And IMObservation he varies them a lot. Maybe not very obviously ‘a lot’, but enough to not bore (me).

The minimalistic is fresh I think because it lets one breath in the track while still pumping the ultimate groove which he provides. Really amazing music according to my subjective taste. When I want something more (very) full with variations in sound and bass lines I prefer to listen to some Psykovsky tunes, they truly rock my bottle of liquid. Not that it has to be PsycOre, just saying!

Together with the tribal and trance elements, this CPC project gets my total awe and respect.
He has hit a wide part of my taste smack on the head.

Then since you love ~Uber Den Angst, make sure you catch this one as well.
They are quit similer just Subliminal is easier to seperate, or smth like that.

It's a toss up between Double Bouble and Subliminal Messages... I have played them both to death in my sets.

^Which means I should reconsider my finances and get the Double Bubble album, right? Damn. Let's see what, ,,if” and when I'll buy more music. - There are many other releases then CPC I have in my Wish Basket, like the re-release of Koxbox’s Dragon Tales for starters.

Btw. The new Psykovsky album is out. Looks like something that can screw your mind and to be honest, judging from the samples. It sounds terrible

What the fuck happen' to the magic of his Debut album, did it bleed out and become juvenile chaos? Or are these samples a very farfetched impression of the full length music inside?

And where is the 'Psykovsky' thread in the 'Trance' section, I know I made one long time ago when I hyped the Debut album. Now I can't find it *stupid search*

You can't judge Psykovsky by samples his music is too subtle for that usually. Debut was difficult for me to get into when it came out but I soon found it growing on me. Da Budet I am still waiting on. The last one has its moments but a lot of it is beyond me... I figure there is a growing lag between Psykovsky's brilliance and my ability to appreciate said brilliance. I suppose we have a problem if that lag is longer than my time here on planet Earth... but some things, like layering atmospheric hints of "Wicked Game" over wild psychedelic sounds with indescribably high BPMs, are not necessarily meant to be understood by mere mortals such as us.

CPC is the very model of accessibility by comparison!

First pick would be Über Den Angst since it's a concept album. Subliminal Messages has some solid flow too. Violence sounded like overkill so skipped that. Somehow never picked up Double Bouble album but did get a hold of some tracks, which were the best CPC works along with his stuff on comps released by Deja Vu & Insomnia. So if compilations count the best one would be 'Arc De Triumph'

Btw, does anyone know if CPC was part of Osom when they wrote Over Game?

Care to enlighten me, is there any reason for the horrible German grammar in this thread?           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

one of my favourite artists, it´s a pitty no organizer books him, why? one of the best tracks imho is Piter 25 released on va in da blood by insomnia records ( don´t search for it on yt very crapy quality) it´s a great track to pick up the dancing crowd and create some kind of community feeling but still keeping psychoactive character, alway have goosebumps
while listening to it.
is Save your Souls on triplagrelease keep the faith, also the colaboration with far east ghost Ground of darkness on manic dragon va multiple personalities.
I like that every one of his albums is different, you don´t buy the cd to get what you´ve expected, it´s like a nice surprise.
For the organizers round here, if you book him for some hours gig I´ll be there

i like him but only sometimes he has a verry dirty sound... which i can't take all the time. I like his early works more than the new ones but the last album is also hypnotic           http://soundcloud.com/magimix-1/chilling-forest-whispers

CPC - Double Bouble (probably purposely misprinted for more mysterious and nicer looking on the cover and speech - whatever is very good CPC album. One of his best, heart-taking, very evil and psychedelic. It's 6 years since its release and I still love to listen to it sometimes. Of course only in CD quality. I strongly recommend it to everyone who is not sure which CPC album to buy. If you like 'Subliminal Messages' then you should love 'Double Bouble'.
