I'm with Benny here.. The quality reminds me the Shpongle's albums but as Benny say there are tiny parts which reminds me IM.
Overall a great Album but not all that!
The best 2001 CD? Haven't heard it yet! |

What I see as refreshing here is the feel and emotions inside the music- it's been a while since I heard that.
It's only natural for a new artist to show his influences in his music, especially in a new album- it's just that Cosma does it better than the people that influenced him in a lot of ways. |

Beutiful cd, i dont like full on that much but this one has a different touch to it, yes he is influenced by others, but than again who isn't?
it's always easy to say some one is influenced from a group as a reason for not liking his music.. some said it about jimi hendrix too.. ;-)
defenetly a worth buying cd.

To make my words a little more clear- it is a nice cd, nothing more (imo of course), being influenced by other artists isn't bad, but using the same sounds exactly... not so good imo.
bottom line- defenitly NOT cd of the year... i can think of other israeli artists who released their albums this year and are far better. about the feeling part- it just doesn't go into my hart like other tracks/albums i listen to, but then again- maybe it's just me. (and sex-tazi) ;) |

well, not full on, but kicks ass....
this guy knows how to make realy good music.
maybe the best israeli artist this year?
i mean, i loved infected new album,
and psysex was a killer too,
but man, this guy is goooooood.

ammm...
a nice one, much better than the diablo cd but its
not that good 2 b the cd of the year...
2 much of infected mushroom... delta... atmos..
the production is great.. realy clear sounds
the story is not realy the best...
but after all.. realy nice work

Okay , agreed , BUT ... (there's always a BUT haha) .
IM's BP Empire is shitty comparing to their older CD's .
Okay , most of the CD is GooD , but what about the two crappy trax (Noise Maker&PGM) they've put in there !?
That ain't good enuff for being CD of the year ...
I reckon what Avihen made is excellent and very diverse and intersting .
So , let's compromise about ONE of the best CD's this year , eh ? :)

I Love Avihen's CD , never said it otherwise !
For me it IS the CD of the year ,
but if other ppl disagree it can't be the CD of the year , then why not compromise about it ?
So now u got my point ?
And I agree w/ Ravergal ... do u really have to send a msg about anyshit ?!
If u haven't got something interesting / relevant to say , would rather u not sending it !

Update ;)
Find Out is amazing track.. between the full on to the deep dark & quality side of this whole album.
Saffy Smoke a Lot has cool bass-line but it continues less storngly.
The same is with Cusanam which starts very powerfully with this "melody" but again Avihen chose to change bass-lines as an uplifting element which doesn't do what it needs to do, and this aweful weak clubby(?) melody.

Well even I liked this CD, except for the last 3 tracks, they are too much full on for me.
and belive me find out is a morning killer, I played it at the pacha last week, after skazi's set and it blew the house. |
