Congratulations to Infected Mushroom for ending as 26 and the highest NEW ENTRY spot on the DJ Mag voting for DJ of the Year.
Also Yahel is there as 45 and Astrix as 75.
Finally some trance DJ's in that list also (not counting John 00 Fleming who plays also euro trance )
This is a great move for trance in the comercial sence, but still not such a good thing for trance as a whole thing. I think this is the breaking moment when psy trance is taking into the comercial waters.
Well... IM deserved it

When you say trance. Are you (and alot of other people in here) then talking about trance as in:
-psytrance
-Full-on
-Euro-trance
Because for me, trance is first of all a concept of state of mind. Then I think of Euro-trance, then I think of "trance" music in general (4/4 beats). Lately, i have figured out that alot of "you" people who are writing "trance" here and there, are actually talking about Full-On when you write "trance". .. So.. Ah, IM on the list. Well, umm.. Thats great? For IM? yeah.. thats it. Thats great for IM.

It is Just Popularity contest, like the king of the prom. I really don't like it. Don't think that it's got something to do with skills. There are unknown dj who can mix allot better than any dj in the list. It's not decided by Professional ppl. there is nothing interesting in this king of the prom contest.

It's just further proof that Infected Mushroom sold out. Anyways isn't this off topic? They aren't making psytrance any more. Why are we talking about them in a psytrance forum?
Some create music that sounds good, others make music that sells good. I think it's pretty clear under which category they fall these days.. "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."
