Atma & R-Tur - Journey Through Your Mind (ambient album)
It is an "Initiation Journey" of a man called Caleb witch started thousends of years ago in the ancient Babylon and it ends in the present. In his journey, this man "Caleb" meets all the musical cultures around the word...(it's like a history about all kind of psychedelic,tribal,ancient music influences around the world)
Anyway the end is when Celeb;.. afther he finish his journey decide to kill God and than suicide himself.
The 2 music composers started working on this project many years ago and it is still on work. The album will be sold together with the book (The Journey of Caleb). Anyway... it is some kind of a "Lord of The Rings" but it is an musical album (on 2 Cd's) not a movie. Some kind of a musical "Zarathrustra" of Friedrich Nietzche.
I think it will be one of the greatest and electonic music creation ever made.

Don't know if it's really a concept album, but I just thought of "Cross Links".
The 2CD compilation from Iboga and Digital Structures, that featured 1 CD with original tracks from both labels, and the 2nd CD had cross-label remixes of all the tracks.
Great release - a concept I would like to see again sometime.

binary_me, i was bout to say such a thing 
I think it would be cool to do something of time-evolution. the life span of species, the arrival to the extinction.
Or, something with the world economy, stock market, some how make the bpms related to the fluctiating market patterns. would be interesting.
Or a theme of such that represents the history of Beethoven, Amadeus, Bock, Brahams, etc.
mmm..just some ideas, but what do i know |

I think The idea for the soccer teams was really good...also liked the 7 deadly sins!!!
a idea that could work is to do a track for each one of the big names in history.
such as:
Hitler
Che Guevara
Nelson Mandela
and all those people
the tracks would have they voice as samples...
it would be fun...lol
another idea is to create a track to each sport
basketball
soccer
football
and so on...
tracks for the colors would be a nice idea too...
tracks for the martial arts would be killer too...
tracks for the magical beins...
such as:
fairy
goblins
knoms
and so on...
but what I really wanted to see..iskind of a journey trough man evolution... like we start in the stone age and go till the cration of A.I
it would be really killer stuff...lol at least for me
mmm..just some ideas, but what do i know

I would like to see an album with each track focusing on various instruments such as...
Violin
Piano
Djembe drum
Jews harp
Dijeridoo
electric guitar
flute
bass
each instrument already has its own unique vibe and set of sounds, and each track would be different style (space dub, downbeat, full on, dark psy, melodic morning tunes, etc etc).
respect to the gurus is also a good idea, although 1200 mics did something sort of similar with heroes of the imagination...

ok here goes :
The Ten Commandments - Revised for today by ten top artists of 2004.
A Jesus Christ Superstar kinda album, which tells the story...in 12 sentences (one line samples in each of the 12 tracks).....but conveys the rest via the music.
The Story of Ramayana/Mahabharata.....there can be nice ones for the War, the discourse from Lord Krishna, Killing Ravana etc.....
Psy Trance Musicians/DJs are always looking to construct a story with their sets, how abt constructing a story with the album as an experiment.
hope we see them out soon.
