yeah mate but you could probably have good color too out of a tube eq. i could be wrong but i think some tube stuff is a bit slow for psytrance to use on the master but it could maybe be great on itb tracks to remove digital edge . |

I literally cannot think of an entry level tube/valve compressor for mastering. Seriously you would be better off using a high quality plug in. There is so much that needs to be got right in a great compressor that it cannot be done on the cheap unfortunately.
You best plan is download plenty of the higher quality software devices and check them out, I am sure you will find one thats just right and you will not waste money on cheap hardware.
