good cd, i have a problem with the last track though, it's a great track but for some reason the bassline sounds like it's "choking" from time to time, you know the sound you get if you give a bass too much overdrive ? it sounds horrible, anyone else has this problem or my cd is defected ?

Wow ! I was digging this compilation for a couple of weeks now... simply a brilliant craftwork , Dj Sascha was managed to create a highly acclaimed compilation that focus on Progressive side of Trance , most of the tracks here fits in a morning sets for my opinion , I love the way those tracks blend into each other beautifully... I think the concept behind the compilation is creating an atmosphere , building slowly towords the compilation and giving a wide attention to background...
My favorites are Bitmonx with It , Bitmonx is a very talented artist , and I like most of his work that I had the chance to listen to , and this is no exception , although I have to say that Bitmonx have made better then this , but overall a great morning track , Auricular with Wasp or Fly (Rmx) , brilliant progressive like most of his amazing work , some industrial machines appear at some point and buzzing sounds of both wasps and flies (I guess...) and some liquid sounds dripping slowly but surely all over , highly enjoyable :)
Prisoners of the Sun made a groove anthem with Lima , I just love the way this tune can wiggle your ass in the morning ! it develops all the time , changing beats & rythem , very energetic , then comes a sample that says - "gotte get up !" , I assure you that this track will not only make you get up at a party , but also jump around like crazy with a shining smile on your face :)
Fabel - Trunk , well I don't think it anything really special about it , but Iboga's stuff just can't go wrong ! bouncy rythem , smashing bassline (typical to Iboga) and a cool sample , what else can I ask for ?
Peak Pilots - Twisted Fancy is as twisted as a fancy can get ! this typical German-Intact Instinct killer bassline that I love very much , very dark , intense & evil , just the way I like it ! one of the best night tracks I have heard lately , Intact Instinct / Peak Pilots are masters of dark minimal-techno-trance whatever you choose to define it , if you do...
About the other tracks on this compilation are all above average , although I need to dig more to them...
