its ok to put one's face on the cover, i guess trance people are not used to it because this has been an underground scene for the last decade. But now people want to step into the money of course, therefore they beleive that by connecting the artists face with his music its going to be a hit. This is true of commercial pop music such as Indian, Arabic, MTV stars like Britney Spears etc.

if its done in the right sense its all good, the Yahel cover was lame, and the video inside was disgusting. (the music was very good though)

anyways i think mark allen knows what he's doing, production wise for sure, and i promise you wont see my pretty face on my album cover;)

I think that nowadays there is nothing wrong with artist/dj photo on the cover.

7 years ago I wouldn't c it as something positive, but the reason for it would probably b that 7 years ago there were X number of acts and dj's and basically everyone knew everyone and the scene was very small and there was no need for that kind of promo.

These days the quantity of labels is bigger than the quantity of artists we had 7 years ago... ( good or bad? ) and basically it's very easy to get lost with all the new names and bands and dj's so it's good to know ppl's faces through their products..
