well in india we dont have full capital account convertebility or else that wud have earned u leaps & bounds in the next 5 yrs.

UPDATE
neone who hold US $ in ne form (bonds, currency, T.Bills etc) sud GET OUT NOW b4 its too late.
the recent 'bailout package' (yet to be approved by the congress) will stop the main engine of the U.S. debt based econmy i.e. Treasury bills.
as the U.S. currently needs more then 2 billon $ everyday & which now are yeilding sumwhere around 0% yeild 
wen the derivaties time bomb ticks god help american economy
p.s. buy as much gold & silver as u can (in physical form & not a promisory note backed by the idotic investment banks) & u'll thank me for the rest of ur life

UPDATE!
the recent announcement by the Federal Reserve about buyin 1.15 TRILLION $ of US T. Bills & mortgage-agency bonds (aka crap) has jus acted like an catalyst in the demise of the dollar
in plain words it jus stated that the world community has jus realised that loaning to US (via buyin long term T.Bills) is like trowing ur money in the shitpot, The federal reserve has begun hyperinflation (although it'll take a year or 2 to hit the real economy) be prepared folks this will get nasty before it gets ne better
