It's not true that the TLV is a gays club.. only Friday nights, Thursday nights for example are really good and not homosexual-related.. in a matter of fact, the Friday nights are also almost 50-50.. anyways, the FFF (Fridays) nights got a great atmosphere eventho its homosexual-related..

I dont think you will have any problem to find a club that spins house in Tel-Aviv, the you should ask is which one I should pick? |

kinda the same as eli said.. Fetish, TLV (Fridays and Thursdays), Dome (Fridays), Lemon and I also had some good time in that small dance bar in Allenby called Freedom.. but I'm not sure about whats going on there now.. |

OK it's Clubland time.
The major day for clubing in Israel is Thursday with Friday running Close behind.
Thursday Night in Tel Aviv Clubland include:
TLV - At the moment the leading Tel Aviv Club featuring a Progressive UK sound with some techy touches. Residents are Shlomi Zidan (From Moshic & Zidan) and P2C, 3 dancefloors working. (BTW this thursday they have Ziv's (One of the owners) Bday with Infected, Dede (MDMA), and Tim Healy as well as Tom Stephan (Superchumbo).
Also available on thursday are the Fetish dancebar (Realy nice smallish place with a more underground feel) Tamarz lounge/club (If theyre open) their thursday nights are less regular at the moment, they are more Techno oriented but with a quite mediocre sound system, they managed to ruin the set Kevin Saunderson gabe there last year. also some less important/interesting dancebars around the city.
Friday night Again the TLV is working wuth the Gay oriented FFF line, then there is the Dome (Also gay oriented) both feature the same blend of British house/Progressive stuff. Then there is the Fetish and the Lemon, the lemon is a smaller more posh place with a more clasic NY/UK house musical line, quite nice if you don't mind the snobery in the air. then of course the Deep afterpartys from 0600 till 1430 those are for the Egoners if you need to get the speed out of your system.
The there is the Oman in Jerusalem, Arguably the best club in Israel with a mixed House/Techno aproach and a killer sound and lights system. Thursday nights are recomended.
on other days there are various things around.
And there is allways Trance!!! this is something completly Diferent (Although it's really all the same ;) ) There is something for everyone in TA. |
