at the club scene and club parties people tend to be more violent and less friendly, while the psy people and the psy nature parties are more relaxed and happy and friendly.

....
why ?

the people working at the supermarket are all grumpy and not very nice. however, the old lady at the grocery shop next door is very nice and always has stories to share and jokes to tell... what's the difference ?

rik, your compare is shitty.
if you don't know the answer, don't replay.
it seems that many people replay a lot of shitty replays just to get attension.

hod. what are you talking about? it was an extremely good (well.. at least good ) analogy.. and a perfectly acceptable answer to the question. obviously assuming on the part of the reader a certain level of intelligence in order to interpret it.....           >>love will tear us apart...<<

also one might add that the question is of the most base and banal kind anyway. with ridiculous generalisations such as those exhibited in the first post in this thread what kind of answers do you expect!           >>love will tear us apart...<<

Hod, still showing elements of the old Hod... hehehe.. anyway, I don't think you are neccesarily right man... I dont go to clubs usually and dont listen to house but about 3 weeks ago my friend got married and we all went to see a house dj named Danny Tenaglia... let me tell you it was a great experience diffrent vibes and totally happy nice fluffy people. The music is built for a diffrent atmosphere then the trance flow, and so it evokes diffrent behavior. rik i like your comparison, also tell me where in trance parties you can go to the bathroom for a quickie with some hot ass girl you just met 2 seconds ago? you cant make this generalization in my opinion, cause each party each club has its own personality and personall.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

hehe- Berserx
I saw Danny Tenaglia like a year ago at a club and it was some trippy shit - the vibe in the club was great too. The dude can spin - and it wasnt fluffy stuff ,it was shit i never heard b4, kind dark that built and built but never climaxed.

I don't see much violence and dance clubs , if any - unless you go to a hip hop or booty club - which i don.t but ive seen fights come out the door.           no sig

Hod what are you talking about?

First of all have you been to any club parties at all?Because i remember you all the time to accuse club music and clubs in general.

Here in Athens at least people are friendly at any place and if you know how to act and speak you dont have a problem nowhere and with noone.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

i think it's because when you go to an outdoor party you have to drive far, basically it takes more effort to go there, and that usually takes care of most of the nasty people.

Ben maybe in france, I remember from my party days in israel, that the "nasty" people have this strategy of driving aimlessly on roads where potential parties could be in remote places and wait for someone to drive off road and simply follow them.... so Hod? is that better or worse then club people? people are people some good some bad everywhere and in every "scene". stop with the labeling, best to label your spice rack instead.

Hod: if i wanted attention i'd go about this a different way don't you think? (at least i can think of easier ways, and i prefer attention of real life people over flaming forum characters i'll probably never meet)

disregarding all that, the amount of actual fights and stabbings and murders in belgium is near to zero, haven't heard of any recent violant incidents in years.

you state people are less open: i think when people go to clubs they tend to meet with a group of people there and stay in this group for the rest of the time they spend there (and eventually move on to the next club together), most people i know that frequently go to goa parties don't form small groups, but are part of the entire party crowd, move around, talk to people they run into. in general i'd say they're more social. this alone avoids conflicts in some cases.

clubs are expensive (in general, in belgium at least). people are paying a lot of money and like to act like they own the place because they do (hence bumping into eachother happens a lot, and reactions thereafter are not as friendly as you might hope).

drinks are expensive ... if i pay 3 euro for a coke i won't be as eager to share it with strangers, and be more select among friends... so far at the parties i visit drink prices vary between 1 and 1.5 euro's, and you're allowed to bring your own drinks into the party place, big difference.

we don't hire muscles to stand at the door at all, clubs seem to be magnets for these types (both working and visiting).

my 2 cents.
