Claw vs. Paranoize - "deadly alliance"
(Temple Twister) CD

This split album of the two guys from Israel and Greece announces already in their title, what to expect. They both appeared on several compilations in the past, as couple also single appearance and it was logic that there will be an album at least of one of them. Now they met at Temple Twister and delights the psychedelic community with this serious made trip. 9 groovy acid stomper always in a mystical shape and epic attitudes. Kicking breaks and sweet acidleads never getting tired to force ya to take part in.

Last three tracks they worked together while they began alone. Their musical influences easily to notice in their current work and for me as a wide open minded musicfreak appreaciates it a lot. It's mad, it's wild and psychedelic, but never drives through the stupid massacre behaviour with no structures. This disc is definitily structured as well intelligent arranged.

In brisky tempo from 148 bpm the discs starts with Claw and "Jigsaw Killer",
peppered with scary samples and smoothly announcing acidpads prepare for the
wild trip. It's buzzing, jarring and squirting a high dose of fun, packed in
the mystic shape of an alliance starts here, I have to say is a real winner, even I am just tasted the first one...

In the second one by Paranoize he makes sure that this is a marvelous duo squeezing some cells out of us. "Graveyard" starts with a pumping groovy bassline as well, the known shout and cry samples, I have to say I am quit a bit annoyed with, but nevertheless they didn't overdone it. Always find the healthy dose of what you already know and the surprising parts to stumble in, like the epic classical break or the kick after... wooosh

"Juracid" by Claw again does not waste time and starts with rolling base and snarling synthleads creeping in, to mate with dribbling acids fusing to the first real mystic monster on this disc with its adrifting synthlead. Kinda aciddream.
love it.

"Leprachaun in the Forest" contributed by Paranoize ripples with tiny little effects
to kick in with a driving base. The main lead seems familiar to me, and it fits
brilliant to the track before, kicking breaks and again the healthy dose of acid
crashing in from left and right keeps me smiling. maybe too long breaks for my personal taste, but will be equalized with a thrilling moment waiting for release to the extatic cosmos right after ... mjiammi

Claw's "Wrong Door" starts with a minute cautious basseline to crash in, and again with this shouting voice I am use to hear last time too often. Thanks it's not too often he implemented it in this one, and this mindblowing leadsynth makes u easily forgive this sample I am harried with. This one is easily my fav on this disc, and I would give it 11/10 if this shouting
"AHHHHHRGGGGG" sample just could be replaced.

"The Omen" again just by israelian Paranoize starts with groovy kickass beat and snarling
pads to turn to a moving stomper with a rough attitude just from beginning. Build up sounds for me a bit stressed, so structure seems to miss a bit, not my fav, but still a goodie to play.

Now the two guys met to create the madness together. "Watch it" on 150 bpm roars into my brain and slightly creeping synths as well the sample work in here makes me moving .... the whole track sounds for me like the commencement of an act. Thrilling atmosphere and samples makes me wait for the release. And I will be satisfied with upcoming title track.

"Deadly Alliance" maybe the highlight on this disc, they both substantiated what they stand for: Kicking ass Psytrance without any useless breaks or implemented nothing. Not too much of everything .... and not missing anything here. Arrangement very skilled and prooved floor suitibility I swear!

"Pios Eine" finishes this great disc. I would like to know what the title means. But aynway its maybe the wise choice to put this track at last to burn this project in our minds, with a wild attack of acidwork and thrilling atmospheres swirling around from left to right the disc stucks in your head after whole delight.

Al in all, I have to say this is a very good album, and it will be for sure a big success for Temple Twister. The cover is a nice choice for such kind of music, surprisingly "progressive" styled for my
taste, but I simply love it. Generally a bit more influences and changes wouldn't hurt in this, but not really missing.
maybe only thing to complain is the use of cry or shout samples annoys me lately, but thats just my bloody personal opinion.
Just to make it extraordinary there is this little kick I am sure both will delight us in the future with, as well in production. I just say congratulations and thank you so much for such a strict statement of
intelligent made nighttime psytrance without touching any chasms. Yeah !!!
