but the thing do sound good imo for a digital drums synthetizer, how good it will make techno drums is what i m wondering, but i think there is good potential in term of sound quality with some good processing (vulture ) .i could see myself buying one, maybe second hand ....

you cheked the video ?it s not bad compared to arturia teaser

can you get nice psy kicks out of the mbrane pom? if so, are you willing to post an example? with the mbase it was more or less only technoish kicks possible what kept me of it. phat as hell though, larger than life sound. but not what i needed.

i don't think it can make good psykick, will tell you next week. it s good at techno/minimal percs sound and you can make phat snare out of it.

i will make a free pack with analog kick later a few will be be usable for full on and prog.
and i love the mbase ,for kicks maniac it s definelty a box to own , for making layers or even just like this...

the mbase can even make great techno minimal bass..and probably some good low tom.

after it s taste some don t like it some love it... but no one will tell you it sound thin (never heard it 100% dry though )

for usual psy kick it seems the futur retro xs is the shit...never tried one and will post you a sample of the kind of usable kick you can get with the mbase wihtout using layering.

been looking into the mbase again after some time now. just love the overwhelming delivering phatness.. started bidding on one on ebay

the pure awesomeness of the punch is mental. funny enough i started doing tracks with more technoish 808 style kicks.. so it fits my needs better than a few years back. great you brought that lil mashine back to my mind!           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

dunno what kind of kick you like...
i get kicks like this with a bit of eq wihtout trouble, even phatter..funny both kicks have the typical mbase caractere, round ,tuby ,lot of density but clean low end ,almost with "air" in the low dunno how to say.. that kind of kick i get them straight out of the box with little processing ( a bit of eq saturation and compression and last time i used my uln preamp amp gain as make up + mio caractere ,this chain was sounding phat, larger than life sound with bassline runing in a similar path)
