by cold, I mean lows reaching the lower 40's. We WILL have fire on the dance floor, kinda like at Circuit III:

"Vibrating in a sea of consciousness, we dance in order to explore.
Going beyond the waking world we discover new possibilities within ourselves.
To keep this discovery a secret would be a shame.
So we activate those with the courage to take the plunge."

Namaste amigos! We hit a little bump this morning at our pre-event campout and are in the process of moving to our backup location. Mercury Retrograde strikes the Overmind! So if anyone wouldn't mind sending a little positive energy our way to keep the authoritarians offs our hides we'd be extremely grateful =) The show must go on!

Well, because of undue influence from the man, we nearly lost this event to the inevitable hand of the god of shitty luck striking us down from above. However, after moving the venue a hundred miles away, we were still able to rock it in the desert last night. I have yet to sleep, running on equal parts adrenaline, nicotine, and delerium. Thank you to each and every one of you who braved the desert to enjoy the pure bliss of some serious old school goa (courtesy of Tim C, thank you sir!) and much more. Loads of great people, really good vibe, LOTS of fire spinning, and some seriously solid beats from all the Audio Navigators. Unfortunately, Jay Eric met his match at a local mexican eatery and was unable to join us, but look for him in the Houston area soon! Huge props to Syntax, Ashley, Psytek, Crista, Chris, TimCat, Zee, Jessi (our newest trance priestess), Alisha, Tim C, Nick Synergy, Magnus, Cliff, and Moksha Mind (new mix out soon) for making this event possible. Extra special thanks to Stephanie for single-handedly loading and unloading half the gear; you have some amazing energy, and you guys made the weekend an extra special blast. Can't wait for the Halloween party. I am so glad we didn't have to post this one in the lose column. Join us next month as we bring another great excursion underneath the stars.           "Every generation needs a new revolution." ~Thomas Jefferson

Wow! Sounds like this one rode the magic carpet of sheer determination to a happy ending. Hoping to hear more details when y'all are rested up.           ELECTRON EYES / MARK-EVAN (NOR. CAL)

It was a fucked up weekend, but the party still went off with the help of many dedicated trancers! Looking back I was probably lucky not to be at the original location when the sheriff's posse rode in. But I will always wonder what would have happened if karmavsDogma and I had been there to defend our rights. We've stood up to those thugs before and continued our church outing as planned!

Alternate directions were emailed on Saturday evening and people started showing up in the desert ready to trance shortly thereafter. Our scouting team did a wonderful job securing and preparing the backup location. Thanks guys and gals! You are essential links in the chain. The van arrived and was promptly unloaded. Music soon followed. And there was much rejoicing!

To Be Continued...
