Well I've played at the Big chill for 10 years running
and I can assure you there is no 'bad jazz'!!
Unless you are referring to eg Cinematic Orchestra
and personally I think they are extremely good
AS there are 6 or 7 stages, you certainly have lots
of choice!!!

No bad jazz at "the big chill" c'mon !!!! it's a festival of horrid noodly breakbeat shite none of the music there means fuck all to me......a personal opinion of course my cut on chill out music is very much based in the trance/ethno world fusion camp. Cinematic who ? |

The big chill is not a trance festival, if that's what u mean!
It IS the biggest gathering of ambient/chillout/downtempo artists in the UK ....
we had 27,000 people this year and most people thought
it was the best one yet!

the line up looks very nice indeed!
...talking about cinematic orchestra...
maybe one of the best bands there is! their stuff is very chilled, very hypnotic, very soothing but at times aggressive and harsh.
