Well, just came home. So. Nice location, too bad there's a fence, but we'll live with that. Kaleidoscope gave great set. Didn't like Dark Soho, expected much more for some reason. Shanti made my day. Then Mind Complex came and that was the time to chill.
Then came Micro's followers and ruined the day David fixed that, but still we went home.
In overall nice party, thank you guys, but imho you could do a little selection, and also, if you already were checking the cars, not to let balloon jerks to get inside.
Stand by for photos, cheers

Now that was a nice warm-up for the upcoming bitching convention….

Location: I still don't get why I had to drive that far for that GAN ERUIM. The place itself was ok, a lawn with some trees in the middle of an orchard. There are pluses to having a party at a GAN ERUIM, like the lawn, the road, the parking area, but it usually kills the vibe for me and also, makes it feel close-spaced. I won't mention the dance floor (emphasis on floor).

Music: we arrived in the middle of Kaleidoscope's set. Nice going there Tom, even with all the "problems". A nice end of set to start a party with. Unfortunately, Boxer of Dark Soho was next and was bad, with a capital B. Not too much to say about that set without being mean, so I'll shut up. I've bitched enough about it on location. I went to sleep, figuring that this will not be the party for me to dance at (soon you'll understand why) and slept all through GuyShanti's set. Woke up in the middle of the next set, no clue who was the DJ. Some nice moments there to dance to while playing Frisbee. Then we went home.

People: Scary. You know me, I don't usually say things like that, and I try not to judge people by their appearance, but by their behaviour. That was scary. Violent faces (though no violent acts), somewhat dark and mean atmosphere, the kind that makes you scared to go to the dance floor. I repeat – I didn't encounter any true act of violence (except shouts and a guy kicking the toilet's wall while cursing), but the atmosphere did feel somewhat unsafe there.

Thank you's and highlights: Welcome home Oran. A special thank you note goes to the inventor of the ear plugs.

Official boooooo award: goes to Candy, of course.

Summary: Had it not been for the crowd, this party could have been much much better. Good organization, nice location. At least I'm in better shape for my annual bitching convention now

With hopes for a better future and a happy week...

Well, Karnaf, I've already seen from your previous posts that you like to stir things up so it's either a review about a perfect party or a review about a total crash one. The truth usually is somewhere in the middle. Anyway, I just had to set a few things straight, my comments attached.

So true.

This wasn't a usual gan eruim or a fancy place that makes you feel you need to dress up, it was a dance floor inside an orchard with many orange trees inside, also the place is huge and the fence was covered with many trees so it was hard to even notice it, so I can't see why anyone would feel close spaced in there.

I won't argue about that, different strokes.

Well, there were many 'braves' ravers who find the guts in them to get themselves into the dance floor.
I agree that there were a few faces in the party, they surely weren't the majority (as pictures shown), they were not a part of our crowd but from the neighborhood and they didn't pass selection but snuck in through the trees.

I'm sorry you feel this way. Candy is a dear friend, I hate to see her being booo'ed.

Karnaf, you should know that your hobbit of bitching hurt people who really put their heart and mind into producing quality parties
and doing so because they love the trance scene and not for the money.
If it was an authentic review, I wouldn't have said anything but there were many happy raving people in this party which was a very invested one.
I wish you all the best.

chill dude...

i think that karnaf's review was MUCH more than fair!!! u should thank him for not showing the real picture.

i saw there "at least" 10 more forum members.

did u ask yourself why didnt they wrote a review to this party?

maybe 'cause they work 4 u or play or just got in 4 free and dont want to throw shit in your face cause they respect u and your work?

i hope u learn the lesson from this one and im sure the next one will b much better!!

keep up the good work!

Oran.

hello ppl, i would like to start and to apologize to all of those who were disappointed from the party usually we have good partys and very nice crowed . i appreciate our criticism i guess that the expectations were high from this one . i promise that every thing that have been said and written will be taken into consideration and we will improve specially the security . but i would like to discuss a few facts that were not mentioned .the party did last 20 hours at a very low price like we promised .more than any party that day .secondly we had agood time and all the friends that were fearless and staed did enjoyed tham self ,definitely it was a great good bye party for tomer that is leaving to india. and that is the most important thing for me.
i have so many ppl to thx all of the d.js were great thx you,the sound was excellent thx u shiko, the bar and the chi set up were very professional thx eity and amit.thx you joker it was a pleasure, and thx every body that came it was great seeing every one.

just wanted to let every-1 know......making parties aint easy, making beautiful people come-also aint easy , silence the police AINT easy at all.....
BUT saying bad things and how bad the party went (even if it wasnt)- IS SO EASY.....
AND THE EASIEST THING IS TO CRY ALL DAY ABOUT THE PARTY-BUT NOT MAKING IT YOURSELF...

think about it.......RoShRoSh            RoShRoSh

Guys, please don't get carried away - I think we are losing the point here.
First of all, been there, done that and enjoyed every minute. The atmosphere was SWEET, the crowed was AWSOM and to say the truth, an old timer like myself really favored the "dance floor" and the fact I could have crapped in a decent restroom at the end of it all ;-)
Regarding the line-up, well, I second my man Tom - different strokes. I had my share of "lapanim" and chill when I needed it and it's way more than can be said about some of the parties I've crashed last year.
Abe, Tom and the rest of you guys who went overboard for us, thanks a bunch, I really had a great time!
Tom - Enjoy your vacation, do everything I wouldn't do and come back to us safe and sound, wee need you over here.
Signing off....
Kof.
