what is recommended to make a good chill floor in a festival or Party..?

Make sure the sound from the main stage isnt disturbing the chill floor sound, as the sound on chill floors shouldnt be louder than you can sit and talk without much effort.
If its outdoors a big circus tent always work good  Or if you were at SEMF, the way the chillout was put up there
Soft lighting is also a plus, red and green works good. Watch it with the uv, some people go to the chillout to escape the uv inferno thats usually on the main stage area

It's sometimes nice to have a nice food/chai cafe in the chill as it draws people to the area - as the chill is normally some way away from the trance floor - also nice to make it as comfortable as possible with cushions, chairs, etc......for the ultimate chill environment check out idspiral here in the UK
