Looks great!
But I was wondering about the Indidginus live pa, not sure that its their first UK appearance because they are playing for us on the 22nd February, and I think they have played in the UK previous to that.

How are you doing? I actually got booked by Kristian before yourself, so at the time of booking "debut UK appearance" was correct. Sorry for any confusion. I have indeed played in the UK before, but not as Indidginus (my live PA). I used to be a session didg player of sorts for various people, going under the name "Deviant Didg". Hence the name of my website. Indidginus came later, & is now what I am focussing on.... Hope that makes some sort of sense! Looking forward to playing at your party tomorrow

mmmm... the line-up looks good, but how about the vibes? what are you guys expecting? I must say I've never been to EQ and I also didn't hear good things about the last party their the psience sun and lion.
But is definetly some thing to consider doing this weekend.

luiz, in my opinion the Chichime partys are one of the best in London.
though i can't make it to this party  .
ps. if you want to check how was the last partys of Chichime just check the last partys reviews.

yeah my aunt went to the last Chichime and brought me the flyer.... really killer party...
and this year the line up is looking great too
Kristian is very good and a special atention to Mino (one of my favorites!)

weellll, its not often that i get the first review in, actually its the first so 'ere goes...........
cant say too much about the first half of the party coz i werent there. i trolled in about 3am after a lonely walk through the 'valley of the shadow' that is carpenters road .....ooo scary.
to my surprise i was met by perhaps the most friendly doorman i have ever had the pleasure of meeting......a nice welcome!
was also pleasantly suprised by the decor in the main room - i know that it has been said on this forum that not much effort has gone into this at some parties recently, bbut no expense was spared by the chichime crew......... u.v. cannons, wicked lasers n lights, those thingyme tuby hangy things (?) and drapes adourning every wall - nice one, nice atmosphere!
simo was playing a good solid set and had the place pumpin.....the club was not really that full at all, but this made a nice change to recent events at the eq i had been to that have been extremely full. it was great to able to dance freely in s p a c e. the amount of people there was just about right for my liking.
mino came on next - live drums 'n 'all. it was the first time id seen him play, and was pretty amazed with his solid timing and rhytmic stamina. the set was deep and pounding, good to see lots of onstage animation from the man.......jolly good show.
mid way thru i checked out the other room where asif was getting down even deeper with some good techno tracks. respect to the man - not often we see techno successfully fused at psy parties but he pulled it off well.
kristian ended the night in the main room with another polished performance. i believe he may have been playing some exclusive transient tracks (?) at a suprising fullon pace. i havent seen kristian play this fast in a while - but i do like a bit of pace for a decent workout at the end. a few people also commented to me on this but all were enjoying it. "AV IT!"
my only r.a.n.t. (oh shit i cant help it....) with the two aforementioned dj sets is that the same fuckin charty tunes were flogged here as they have been flogged at countless other parties of late. im not sure exactly what tunes they are, i cant really hum them to you, but i like hearing something new and fresh - alot of sets recently are starting to sound the same....................but i know that they are well appreciated by many and sound ultimately f a t in production. i just like a bit more of the 'very' darkside (HHHOOOO HAAAA)

but lets not stray from the factz ..........all in all another consistent and fantastical night from the chichime cru. booooooooooooom! |
