how abt asking the real money makers of the scene ? to give some REAL advice as to how THEY wud want it .
Organisers,artists,Managers .
Cos they matter the most and are on the forum the LEAST. or atleast are just the viewing population and preffer not to participate.
imho , artists , shud get more respect and henceforth more powers to report,delete n stuff . same can be wit oragnisers , on their own threads they can modulate wat they want.
Have a NO REPLY option. where u can make an announcement and ppl cant really post avoiding a whole lot of masala that usually ensues.
I think Artists n organisers shud use this site more so for this forum to be really be 'alive'.
Also, wit all due respect, going back to the roots and basics - is a hippy thing . and then detox says that he doenst want the hippy vibe. well thats quite a bit contradictory .
Embrace the changes. remove the blue walls. and have more concise sub forums rather than nations and for god sakes call it forum.psytrance.com but get rid of the POLAR ISRA prefix.
im not a hater of israel or anything , its just that i dont like being put in a box. One of my friends did say to me - ISratrance - must be from israel. wow.

the name will stay the same by a mater of where it was originated.
the people who developed this site and forum, are originairy from Israel, and i believe the deserve full credit for what they mange to create.
by a matter of respect i belive the name should always stay this one

There is a certain amount of moderator-throwing-their-weight-around on this thread and others very recently and (as an ex-moderator myself who has occasionally made the same mistakes) I can see how it isn't helping to improve the atmosphere here. It will breed resentment and only increase bad behaviour in the long run. Being the bigger man and not reacting harshly to insults or disagreements is the only way to give an example of how to behave; the only way to 'be the change you want to see in the world'.
New moderators - and existing ones! - should read the following document; it's kind of a mod's bible and I can't disagree with a word it says. (replace 'host' with 'moderator' when reading). With all the changes here, there is an opportunity to really improve this place and how it is used, but it will need good moderation for that to happen.

I find it amusing and interesting to witness that some of my recent posts has been removed and marked as "off-topic" (read: Certain mods did not like what I had to say) while other members just as "off-topic" posts are allowed to stay. Why these double-standards in this community?
