Concerning the psychedelic substances the whole thing is out of the question simply for legal reasons. I hope everybody understands this. This forum is registered to some people and these people are responsible for what takes place here.
Concerning the offtopic section i got a question for you all,apart the main sections that we have now (links,books,movies,games,travel,music,sports,spirituality,technology) what other issues are there that you would like to discuss and you cant discuss them in those sections?
Popular and Recent topics idea by Aluxe is a good one.
Dreadieg dont worry anymore about the moderation of the Trance section,things have changed now and there are people who will try to keep things as much ontopic as possible while at the same time allowing the humourous elements to be present.

By the way Kristian,democracy is a nice thing but in this forum just like the rest of the world the people say their opinions and ideas and its up to the moderators,management,politicians to see whether and if these ideas should be implemented always with a nice and valid explanation ofcourse.
The paralilism between the forum and a government might not be the same or the ideal one but i guess and hope you understand what i mean.
P.S also we cant know whether someone has 10 accounts here and votes through them all like it has happened in the best of the year competition where some "artists" set up accounts to vote for themselves....

I am speaking on my own behalf plus based on the comments that the owners of the site have made through the years (for example the legal extension of the psychedelic drugs discussion which has been mentioned by Shahar many times during the past).
I already aggreed with you and the parties/festivals issue and find Aluxe's idea of recent and most active topics very interesting so i dont think i am reluctact about anything. Sorry for not aggreeing with you about everything but its nice to be different i guess

Simply move the forum and its ownership to a country that allows a greater freedom of speech, otherwise it is just a piss poor excuse in this "global" age.
TBH it's more than a joke to run a "psychedelic trance" forum and not allow talk about psychedelics. Or are you trying to tell me psychedelics have no part in it?

a) Can you name a country where psychedelic drugs are legal?
b) Are you willing to put your signature and name on a paper so that if anything ever happens and someone wants to sue the forum you are going to take responsibility for it?

In the UK once ingested they are, you can't be prosecuted for taking psychedelics, neither is it a crime to talk about them, encourage research, sharing information or any other grown-up activities aside from the obvious dealing (which I consider a kind of sin anyway) and hoarding.
Certainly there are issue of incitement/conspiracy, but that isn't something I am personally scared of. Some things are worth the risk, and freedom of information, and consciousness are pretty damn important in my world.
And yes I would be prepared to assume all responsibilites ultimately legally and whatnot, if that is what the forum wanted.(not that I necessarily would want to force myself upon the quora)

Some things do worth the risk like you said and some dont,in my humble opinion this is a music forum and the psychedelics part comes second and it doesnt worth risking the music for the psychedelic.Its the law either we like it or not,what to do.
As about the legal part its easier to say what you said than doing what you said,trust me i know
Anyway your opinion has been noted and who knows....

Its more complicated than that Aluxe. For example in Greece (and in most european union countries i assure you) talking about drugs can be considered as PROMOTING THE DRUG CULTURE which is a criminal offense.
Might sound funny to you but according to the law if i wear a t shirt that says "Smoking Hashish Is Good" i can get arrested for promoting the drug culture.
Trust me i know and i have been prosecuted for that as a party promoter

If blue light can exist (and many others) I find the legal argument quite strange. But if the administrators dont want all the hassle of dealing with it or to move the forum to other hosting they are in their right to forbid drug talking.
Now about the suggestion that have been made:
1.- Merge of all subtopic sections will be good, it will have a lot of activity. Something like Offtopic but psychedelic related. Anyway of all off topic sections the one with more activity is spirituality so maybe it can preserved as it is.
2.- The recent/popular topics box is an excellent suggestion.
3.- Merge countries in to continents, ok.
4.- The renaming could work to promote the site.
5.- Ban Beat Agency: this meassure will bring a lot of ease of mind.
