now it's final , i can't afford Pioneer's in the near future so i have to compromise . if all the Dj's out there could suggest me what not to get and why i would appreciate it a lot . all i need is basic setup cue, pitch, pitch lock, instant start, precision frame accurate search etc. i don't need memory features, sampling, fx and the all the fancy crap . what can be the closest best thing ?

Pioneer CDJ 100 they're simply the best, and exactly what u need. no sampler, though it has Jet, Wah, and Zip FX.
without these theres the Gemini series...like 110 i think ? its just the basic CDJ with the Pitch and Cueing, I donk know how good they are, but u can check them out. goodluck |

man, I played on Pioneers a long time, but only when I got the Dennons set (not even the 2500 type), and only then I truely leaned to play. Pioneers are comfortable, but I believe they are too easy - learn to opperate the hard equipment and then you wont have any difficulties using everything.
good luck |

cdj's are a standard these days so it is the best thing to practice on. About the gemini's I had a pair at home and they suck serious ass, they are not accurate(pitch wise) not comfortable (the play button have a big latency). DON'T BUY THEM!!! |

spoiled brats... I remeber the time when NOBODY used CDs, and if you didn't use MDs/DATs you were 'uncool'. Where are all those MD kids today? running after CD-burners and Pioneers. hahaha. |

i think that the pioneer (like heir name) are the best CDJS on the market , you can do the same work on any other peach controler c.d but the filling and the ease of playing with the pioneer exels them all. |

Gemini is that bad ? i can afford 'em, and i need them to practice at home, for a first set of Cdj's won't that be enough ? like i said i can't afford the best, so i need the closest thing that won't keep me from paying rent and eating for month :) |

don`t buy shitty stuff buy even one cdj and mix with him. in start i had only 1 turntable and it was ok- its not like you r jeff mills or anything you need to learn the basic- buy one cdj100 than 2 crapuccinos. |

Crapuccino ha-ha :) Sorry...
There is another thing - have you seen the cost of Pioneer accerssories? I just can't get why do I have to pay $400 for a box for my cdj tools.
An Guy, good link. This model seems to have all the things needed. At least the specs satisfyed me and the play starts fast. Nir? |
