Watch out with digipacks in cars... My old copy of the Matsuri masterpiece Infinity Hz melted while laying too long near a car window... Sad...           On really romantic evenings of self, I go salsa dancing with my confusion...

>>2. DO store discs in a cool, dry place, away from direct light. The ideal storage temperature is between 23° F - 86° F. <<<

So WTF am I supposed to do when its 100 degrees and humid? Put my CDs in a ziploc bag in my refrigerator?

Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.
Both cost more than you can afford, and leaves you sitting in a dark room with no life, craving for more.

Well th different standards for CDs are Red Book,Yellow Book-Mode 1 and 2,Green Book,XA(Extended Architecture) and Orange Book 1 & 2...
Pls read up specifications of th same 2 determine th exact temperatures..

Th reason why CDs get damaged/unreadable due 2 prolonged exposure 2 any heat source(not just th sun) is because th dye sublimation layer, where pit and land(0s & 1s) info is stored starts 2 absorb this heat n react..
But CDs provide superior storage facilities compared 2 most other devices..Just keep them cool n b cool.. ;-)
Boom Boom.

and for more cd-friendly user instructions please stay tuned after this brief break of neo-classical hard dark indy psy trance....

um i generally try not to gouge chunks out of my cd's with scissors , this definterly preserves their life, but if you want to know good use for a cd, you can throw them....seriously they fucken fly...like anythign and fast..could take someones head off with one no doubt,....once my neighbors cat was in my garden and it shoudlnt have been their , so i threw a cd at it and hit it , it got a great fright and jumped back over the walll......

bet you never tried that hey Dr. Mez....

but the best cd-protection tip i have...is DONT LET YOUR FRIENDS BORROW YOUR CD"S , why the fuck do cd's always come back looking like the asshole was wiping his dogs scratchy ass with them....??? this i wonder

hehe..can u imagine?

I think the problem is the sun not the heat.
If the cdz is inside a cover under your seat for example
everything is ok
